The sun is out and the umpires are taking a look.
You're lucky, hope, the weather here has been just pathetic!- The worst in a century they say, Kash and Afridi could probably give us the input on what it used to be like back then.
Amir we've had similar poor weather but not so extreme.
I thought Neon was the greybeard.
If they'd taken my advice I gave at the beginning of this thread and kept the ground covered until now, play would've been possible but all this on off- on off has let the rain damage the ground.
A target of 180 wins the game I reckon!
I hope so but still some threatening dark clouds around.
A 28 over game helps the Aussies as they are ODI/T20 players, whereas our team has been designed for 50 over games. We will have to jiggle the batting order to get Morgan in sooner rather than later and Woakes must surely play, he's a dangerous hitter.
Well it's starting to rain where I am...
I hope you're in West Brom Amir.
No, I'm not hope, don't worry it's stopped it was just a minor drizzle.
Clarke is talking to the umpires and it's showering so it looks desperate.
According to the BBC weather chart it's not raining and should stay dry. The cut-off time for the 20 over start is 7.07pm.
Should cricket introduce a roof? So when it rains instead of putting covers on, put the roof on!- If the groundsman wants the surface to be a little wet, moisture etc... Then don't put the roof on, but otherwise why don't we have a roof!
It's a passing shower, I'm sure of it...
Watching the umpires and groundsman talking it looks bad, no smiles.
Captains shaking hands, sadly it's OFF.
World domination is postponed I take it?
Only for today, kash, only for today...
Mwhahahahahaha!!!!
We shall just have to whitewash SA in the ODI series, that's all.
