Arsenal V UNITED 18/12/76 Lost 3-1
EVERTON v Forest, sometime in the late 80's, 1-1 as I recall.
Peter Reid squaring up to Nigel Clough after a challenge, who we knew would not react because of what his dad would do to him afterwards if he did!
United vs Leicester City - January 1998
Despite the likes of Beckham, Giggs, Scholes, Neville, Cole and Solskjaer playing we ended up losing to thanks to a first half Tony Cottee goal, I have never forgiven him for that.
1966 Liverpool v Chelsea we won 2-1 goals from Hunt and St John, Bobby Tambling scored for Chelsea.
First as a Chelsea fan was January 2nd, 1960
Chelsea 2-2 Leicester City.
First match ever was September 1956, Palace 2-2 Millwall.
1976 MAN UTD 3 v 1 Birmingham City (Forsyth, Macari, Mcllroy, had to google the last one), Forsyth with a trademark blockbuster, in midfield that day for Birmingham was one Howard Kendall
Can't remember exactly but I went to pretty much every Liverpool and Everton home match from 1986 onwards for about 3 years. My dad used to sell the programmes at Goodison and Liverpool were his club so it was football every weekend for me.

1962 Everton v Liverpool at Goodison.
I lived in a street just off Goodison Road, my dad and uncle were Everton fans and took me to that game.
Being the awkward little sud that I was I went for the other team and never looked back.
It was the reds first season back in the top division and they were underdogs at the time. I think it was 2-2, -it's hard to remember so far back.
12 years ago, i was 4, we lost 4-0 to charlton at home and i cried for the whole 3 hour journey home, knew from that day i was a city fan
2nd game - 1-4, Wimbledon at home, although i was nicely prepared for the years to come
Chelsea 1 - 4 Man Utd
Date : 21-10-1995
was 8 months old
CHELSEA vs Everton 2002-03
We won 4-1, I remember JT took a free kick just inside our half and found Gronkjaer on the edge of the Everton box, he took one touch and slammed it passed Richard Wright to make it 3-0. I also remember Richard Wright wrapping himself around the post and hurting himself trying to save either JFH or Zola's goal.
I was 12, my Dad said we were going to London to see my Grandparents and when we parked up around people all wearing blue walking in one direction I realised where we were going.
1987 Home vs Arsenal, Colin West scored the winner from a Colin Lee setup. My Dad took me courtesy of tickets from Ken Bates' brother.
first one i truly remember 1978 derby at goodison ,
andy king scored and we won 1-0.
April 1976 Liverpool v Everton, David Fairclough's run from near the halfway line late on in the game.
Liverpool won 1 - 0, still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
August 75, age 7 first game of the season, Norwich at Maine Road. Think it was 3-0, Tueart got two and Bell got one or it might have been the other way round. Don't remember Norwich scoring but do remember sitting on the wall at the front of the kippax where my dad had deposited me saying "stay there, don't move, I'll come and get you at half time". I remember peeing onto the side of pitch cos I couldn't leave could I. I remember this policeman clipping me around the back of the head. I explained why I'd done it cos never disobayed my old man, well not until that day anyway. At half time my old man came to take me for a pie and a bovril only to be lectured by the copper and I got another clip round the back of my head.
Went every home game that season and also to Wembley for the league cup final.
Can't believe I had to wait till last week to see us lift another trophy although still glad of the 36 years I've had watching City and looking forward to another 36 if I am lucky enough to live to 79.
City Till I Die.
Same age as me Citizen.
I can't remember who it was against but I would also have been 7 or 8. Rovers at home in the old third division! Mid-70's.
I remember we won a penalty and I was so nervous I could not watch the penalty being taken. The crowd roared and we had scored. We won 1-0. Don Martin was the scorer, not that many will have heard of him on here.
I was annoyed with myself that night to have missed the goal. I have never missed another when I have been present at the games!!
first match was everton v norwich (1994/95 i think)
we went 1-0 up at half time thanks to paul rideout, then got slammed 5-1 (efan ekoku scored 4) Still remember the headline on the back of the echo 'EFAN WHO?'
Was in the gwladys street that day and we sang till after the final whistle, although we got battered loved every minute of being at GP and still do now.
COYB!
All I can remember is there were 4 of us all ten years old went Maine Rd. You could get a bus to town and a football special then without being molested. Behind the goals in the open at the scoreboard end. I have no idea who we played or the score but it must have been good. I have been going ever since.
The year was 1923, it was a cold wet and windy October afternoon at the Bridge and we were playing Burnley. The week before they had lost 4-1 to league leaders Huddersfield so we knew we were in for a thrashing. We won 3-2 though. It was the season that we got relegated from Division One. Those were the proper days of football.
Next trip was away to Southshields (who no longer exist) in 1925. A few clouds that day but it was good conditions for football. There had not been any rain for about 2 weeks. It finished 1-1 with John Howard equalising for us in the 76th minute with a header from the edge of the box. We finished 5th that year just 1 point behind Pompey. Ask BrummieBlue if he remembers any of these- I have been going to games with him for 70 odd years.
1978 against Derby uncle (rip) took me to OT for my birthday . the noise and atmosphere got me hooked .
TBH we were chaff , think we finished 10th that year . we were a good cup team at the time.
started going regular in the scoreboard padlock a couple of years later when we moved to ayres rd trafford.
Bolton-Stoke January 6th 1974 FA Cup third round. We had Roy Greaves, Peter Thompson and Barry Siddall in goal whilst Stoke had Geoff Hurst, Jimmy Grenhoff, Mike Pejic.
It was during the power strikes, so the game was on a Sunday, and then the Sunday trading laws meant you had to by the programme for 50p and that gained you free entry to the ground. Still got the thing framed on the office wall.
November 2nd 1963 Rovers v Sheff Wed 1-1 - Been hooked on the Rovers every since - Broken my heart a few times but also taken me to the highest levels imaginable.
First game attended at Ewood, 1957 I think against Rotherham(?) and I sat on that little bench that ran inside the wall on the Riverside, about 2 feet from Eddie Quigley's legs and near enough to Roy Vernon to smell his breath(!) My mate had a rattle and the players hated it! I was even younger when Dad took me to Turf Moor to see Stanley Mathews (I carried a buffet to stand on), he didn't play and I cried all the way home. I've been crying at footballers ever since!!
