Surprised there's anything left of Ledley's knees to operate on

I reckon theres some truth in the Samba rumors

The defender is expected to rest for up to 10 days before progressing to full activity within a further 10 days...

...before his knee breaks down again for 10 months!!

Honestly. Why doesn't he just pack it in? His leg cannot take top level football much longer. Why risk further complications

I would think they would need a boy scout and a compass to find it.

If it wasn't for his knees you'd probably have the best English CB in the past 10 years with Terry

IMO he's better than Terry and always has been. I don't rate Terry as highly these days, since Eboue cripped him in 06/07 he hasn't been the same player. IMO Ivanovic, JT, Alex and Luiz are all better players than JT now.

Franz Beckenbauer?

He has the pace,awareness,strength,good on the ball,can use both feet comfortably and he times tackles to perfection.

I can't be assed to google it so what is an arthroscopy? Is it just keyhole camera stuff with sucking stray bits of bone/cartiledge out?

Wonder why he didn't have this at the end of last season. Then he could go on the tour and be as fit as he can be for the start of the new season.
