deal with it. we had to do it with modric.
the difference is that spurs board are intelligent enough to not let players contracts run down... arsenal board are just a bunch of jokers
In fairness, he has stayed there 7 or 8 years now. He didn't grow up supporting them and it's getting to the stage now where he will be thinking about possibly ending hrs career with very little tangible successes. From that perspective, his stance is perfectly understandable.
i think rvp did actually grow up an arsenal fan.
what an unfortunate sod

Not that I blame Arsenal fans for being upset. I just don't think it is on a par with Nasri as RVP has been there a long time and is older.

to be fair..
had arsenal not had van persie's goals last season they would have been in mid table
they were the definition of a one man team.

To be fair to RVP he has re-paid the loyalty Arsenal have shown in him with his performances when he has been fit and certainly last season with his 30 goals in 38 games, he's been at the club for a good 8 seasons which isn't bad by today's standards.
The lack of ambition is the spin they put on wanting to leave, a bit like when managers leave a club because they've "taken the club as far as i can" if they just came out and said team x is offering me more money and a better chance of silverware people would respect them more, especially because we all know what the real reasons are.

In fairness, there is a lot of football memorabilia in that bedroom. Did he also support Russia?

He will probably be just changing treatment rooms, one good season in seven,a loss maybe but we as a team have been here before,Cesc, Nasri,Henry,Viera.not one of them was bigger than Arsenal football club we will be here next season and still challenging for honours.
In that case, OP, you should be angry that RvP left Feyenoord.
Most of the players at our club have left another for ambitious desires and more money.
Why are you surprised, or saddened, that they do the same to us?
Chronic we will still finish ahead of you next season. So shut up.
OK, go to city, barca etc and pick up your medals having played 15 games as back up striker, is this what the modern star sspires to
as the last player to hold a League medal for Arsenal was Campbell when you brought him back for a season.
