I think that the situation with Fryers is one reason why SAF has sent Fabio out on loan

Isn't he out of contract? So why would he turn up especially if he is close to joining Spurs?
------------------------------------------

Well we don't know for sure that he is close to signing Spurs do we? Its all paper talk. Hence the point of the article; to try to find out whether there is in truth in the story/what is going on.

Well we've only lost 1 so its not that big a problem

And to answer your question the reason for that was money related

Cheers diva, at least one of you could just answer a serious question.

you have lost more than one youngster though diva its three in recent months isnt it?

Apparently Spurs are willing to offer him £20,000 a week which is ridiculous for an unproven youngster.

If his agent asked United for that sort of money, he was probably shown the door.

We would obviously like to keep him however we've got a wage structure that we stick to when it comes to young players and there's no way we're going to break it for Fryers or anybody else.

Morrison was kicked out, no one wants the next Joey Barton in your club.

Pogba, yes he left for Juve for the extra cash

If the third one you mean is Fryers, thats not sorted yet.

Morrison left because SAF didnt want him at the club any longer. The lad didnt want to leave. Have a read of his Twitter page if you want proof of that.

Pogba - yes we have lost him.

Fryers - we don't yet know what is going on.

So as it stands, we have lost one young player (against our wishes).

I heard we offered him a 1.5k week contract but he wanted 5k and rejected it, facking hell 20k at 19 years old and unproven is a big risk.

I'd be wary of the 20k figure. It is all paper talk and I'd be surprised if it is quite that high.

I dont think anyone is losing sleep over morrison leaving.....

Arab

I would've thought Fryers would've been on something like 4-5k already. I could be wrong though.

i dunno mate, you have a very good youngster and no fee to pay, 20k doesnt seem to unrealstic.

Nah I can't see it. I think some fans believe that all clubs just thrown contracts around. If we was signed on a 4 years deal, which would be normal, that would be a £4m contract. For a player that has made 2 first team starts and 4 from the bench. I doubt very very much that he has been offered 20k. I'd say it will be 10k tops. And I doubt very much that United have only offered 1.5k. I would suspect that 3-5k would be more realistic.

Completely off (the original) subject, but the best nickname for a footballer in recent years is the one for Fitz Hall - 'One size'.

Just heard from someone that knows some of the United youngsters that Fryers did not turn up for training and that he is definitely joining Spurs. Gutted.
