you lot are so naive sometime. of Lawell's hand is in all of this. he is doing the right thing for celtic in not listening to the celtic fans.
Seriously, if he had the casting vote to keep rangers in the SPL but without a chance to win it, dont you think he would have voted for it?
Dont you think he is heavily involved in the division 1 compromise. he isnt cutting his nose off to spite his face.
"I cannot go sanctimonious pash"
Maybe if I was A ranger man then that would be different, arriving 4 months late and telling everyone else to step aside because you know what right for the club.
Or
screaming about not walking away then on hear say threading to walk away.
but best of all
happy to point the finger at everyone else but never once feeling the need to say sorry.
Lawell is playing a very political game and picking the fights he can win
The pie-man is playing the game here, making jibes at Celtic, stirring up resentment, and keeping the lame-brains sweet.
Anything to keep the focus away from the fact that he's a total ffud of a manager whose way out of his depth.
Keep up the good work Ally

Never once has lawwell had a pop at Brown, McCoisy or Green. If anything Brown and McCoist have seen the opportunity to galvanise the Rangers fans with a common enemy. Its a testament to lawwell character that Brown is not the butt of every newspaper joke on the go, "he's not the messiah he's a very naughty boy".
At least Brown can sleep easy at night now knowing he and his source will never be caught up in any phone hacking scandal.
I've not heard or seen McCoist say anything about Lawwell. Can someone give me a quote please?

Lawell has been very professional all along. Not once did he go to the press about his intentions on the vote. Not once has he made fun of Rangers demise.
The only way to get ex-Rangers fans onside is to stoke the fires against Celtic. Green is a professional businessman who is trying to turn the company he bought around. Nothing to do with Celtic so he doesn't bring it up.
Brown is a dobber who knows how to get the fans onside.
McCoist tries to be the happy go lucky guy to the press but is only making a fool of himself when he blames everyone else.
McCoist is a disgrace, from his shameful outburst following the tribunal to his snide comments about Celtic yesterday he has sought to pander to that element of the Rangers support that he once claimed had no place at Ibrox.
The man should be taken to task.
keeping the lame-brains sweet.

No, because there isn't one
He mentioned the Celtic statement about sporting integrity & he agreed with it but then said sporting integrity must be the basis of the next vote also.......or words to that effect.
No mention of lawwell or any digs at Celtic, some have obviously read or heard the story from a media outlet who have tweaked his words to make it sound sinister!!!

Yawn, yawn.
Shouldn't believe everything Zach says
He doesn't
Always said McCoist was a wee sleeveen git.
But on the upside for him, if they do go to yhe 3rd Div. at least he will be in a league more suited to his "managerial abilities."

He's shown why he can't be taken seriously.
It is in Rangers' best interests to go to Div 1, and get back to the SPL as quickly as possible. This will give them more money and more chance of getting half-decent players.
It is understandable that the Jakeys from the Copland Road want to act like children withdrawing from potty duties, they're more to be pitied.
But when your manager starts doing it, and, by implication, adds weight to the arguments of those who would have the club in a much weaker financial position, then you know you have a ffud in charge.

And what about sporting integrity , does that not
matter any more?
Div 1 with sanctions still in place: transfer embargo, points deduction etc.
Not for me.

ath
when they annoinced th transfer embargo the cited size of our squad as being capable of absorbing no signings , now that is not the case i wonder what punishment they will come up with as they have now shown that they need us in spl asap , which rules out suspension as well
Then.
Honestly don't know; there's just no second-guessing our game's "leaders", but no doubt they'll think of something.
