I like defoe but in my opinion he just isn't good enough anymore.

Defoe is well good enough Harry just didn't use him right but he still scored lots of goals what more do people want

I think Defoe is good enough to stay but is he good enough to be our number 1 striker? Definetly not!! I think he should get games but still believe he is best coming from the bench and i don't think he will accept this. Modric is as good as gone to me, he wants out and that's that. I think Moutinho is just as good as a player than Modric and if somehow we can get Moutinho then Modric won't even feel like a loss

Moutinho will cost more than £20mil btw

He has a £28mil buy out clause (I think), he just had a great Euros, he has many years left on his contract, he is young and hes at a club who dont need to sell.

Losing our best player (Modric) can never be looked upon as a positive thing.

Chicken losing modric and potentially replacing him with an equally as good player like moutinho is positive, modric wants out and that's it.

Modric makes you guys tick. He's your general, he starts your attacks, he sprays the bal out wide to Bale. Bale then gets his head down and runs out of touch or into a brcik wall.

Modric is gone as far as I'm concerned. I'd want to keep Defoe for the time being. We shouldn't make any plans to sell him until we get at least 2 more strikers in, so we may as well rule that out for now. He might not be good enough to start in a title-winning side but he's a decent striker to come off the bench.

I know Modric wants out, thats besides the point. RVP wants out of Arsenal, these are still not positives for the respective clubs.

And we dont have Moutinho.

But as messiavb says, we have to hope for the best, but i cannot look at the prospect of losing Modric in any positive light.
