No others have agreed with me including 'spurtle', putting 'thank you' in you're comment dosen't make you right
Anyway i wish modric well, much rather he go madrid then play for bacon nose at united or the C havs, good luck
Don,
Chicken, well my point being is theres no point you sitting being all negative when theres nothing we can do about it.
===============
So when is there a time, that we can be negative, that isn't also at a time where we can do nothing about it?
We are fans, we cannot do anything about anything related to the way the club is run, whether we were to sign Joey Barton or Moutinho, but we can have an opinion on whether it is good or bad for our club. And i think losing Modric will have a detrimental affect on our club. Now there is nothing i can do about it, i'm just stating my view on it.
And whether i'm right (to go OTT about it) or wrong, i think кαвσσм's comment that Modric "aint even good" is a tad more controversial than my strong views on it.
Weare,
I find horse tranquilizers are the way forward.
Spurtle said he is an attacking mid when there are 2 holding mids behind him
Oh god. Maybe our perceptions of attacking mids are different
For me, attacking mids are Ozil, Silva, VDV, Kagawa.
Modric is more the Xavi, Carrick, Pirlo mould
Chicken, i agree.....in no way, shape or form did i ever play down Modric's ability. I think he's a fantastic player but i can see positives from the sale and feel he can be replace. I also feel we would miss Bale more, just my opinion
Don,
That is also a good debate. And without sounding patronising (), i think its a bit like comparing Guinness to Stella.
Bale is a wonderful talent (i dont need to tell anyone on here of his importance) but Modric retains possession ridiculously well & just makes teams tick. He was absolutely awesome in the Euros as well, and ran Spain's midfield ragged.

Modric really dont want to be there
Parker's pose is hilarious.
The way I sum this up is which would affect the team more?
Bale having an absolute stinker or Modric having an absolute stinker?
It's pretty obvious to me it's Modric
What are Spurs' fans expectations for next season?
Assuming Modric leaves, I cant see you finishing above City, United, Chelsea. Maybe challenging for 4th spot with Arsenal?
I think we can get 3rd aslong we get in another striker with Adebayor

Yes messiah, good point.......but check this one out, who would you rather have.....Bale having an absoloute stormer of a game or Modric having an absolute stormer of a game?......for me Bale wins this all the time
Chicken, on another subject....you embarassed that muppet mafiaboy recently? WesthSHAM
Man City getting into the top 2 is no gimme. I think it could be harder for them to defend their title than it was winning it for the first time in ages.
Hard to know where we'll finish. Top 4 and I'll be pleased I guess.
They missed a trick in that photo with Sandro, could have had him karate-kicking Bentley
That's only because he's a more attacking player tho Don you know it
They should have have made that picture a Where's Wally.
Don,
Maf has started something now. Every week West Ham advertise tickets, season ticket or otherwise, which is almost every (if not, every single) week, i will be posting an article about it, confirming the exact page its on, together with the e-link to the current edition.
