The £11m or £12m might be a little high but that's what happens when a club doesn't really want to sell and doesn't have to sell.

I don't think it's that bad anyway. I doesn't feel like we've been bent over this time around anyway!

Chelsea fans - thanks for the comments. I was a little undecided about Borini but I'm beginning to feel more optimistic.

The opposite of Sturridge. Will work very hard and score little

The question that does arise though is that why are AS Roma selling Borini and they should have kept him in their team as he could have turned out to be a big star for them!

Borini is a good player a bit lightweight but hes a fighter. Scored loads at youth level but so did di santo.

Hes a goal poacher kinda striker

Everything I've seen of the lad (very little tbh) suggests he will run like he is possessed by the spirit of Kuyt and stick the ball in the net multiple times.

A few more attacking and creative signings wouldn't go amiss.

He´s a very good player in my opinion. I used to watch him closely in the reserves a couple of years ago and both Borini and Sturridge were the stand out players.

I´m sure he will be a success at Liverpool based on what I´ve seen of him. I´m not saying that he´s going to become your best player but he will at least be a good squad player.

Big shame as I think we could and should have brought him through the ranks at Chelsea.

Liverpool´s gain though.

He came on as a sub and did nothing but miss an open goal in injury time with the score 2-1 to us
