Shelton injured that cant be true.
Its about time the club gave the supporters a little respect,JOC & 26 ill.We went through enough lies last season.Time to be honest,They want our money, give us some respect.
Kiwi. I spoke with Coppinger on friday.
He genuinly is ill.
That has blown your theory out of the water mate.
Fair enough Hound. It was all meant to be a bit "tongue in cheek" really. What with Saunders and Carey having to turn out and JOC off sick with a migraine, it just all sounded a bit comical.
I bet Saunders is giving the lads a bit of stick aftrr that and enjoying his goal.
Trust the management to put the squad together.
Plenty of time yet.
just read what Saunders has said about no one coming in to buy Rovers players, Now that including the Board's reluctance to get into the market. What happens then. PLAN D E F etc. same as last two seasons. If no one comes in to buy then we keep what we have.
It is all well and good players willing to come in but they will not wait around as already proved.
Not being negative I am realistic. Copps burnt his bridges and now has to mend, who will really but Stockie with his injuries. Boro were after Friend but have signed about 4 defenders so where are we. AND if we get new players how long will it be before they are fit enough to play or then they have to GEL. I really feel that Saunders is being set up, by those who (We are not allowed to say "Economic with the Truth" But state that a "Smokescreen" was set up, just like JR was the only one putting money into the club -NOT. Under Company Law can the Rovers actually operate without a board of directors, you certainly need to have 4 on the Board at least.
Getting the Keepmoat was part of the business pln but what about "On the Pitch"? Yes I will be there again this season but expecting not much.
ionly the love fest continues
Do not tell Yankee, yesterday I told him there would be payback, He takes a size 12 and has no problem putting his foot in his mouth, His fingers type too fast for his brain to convert the language, Been in America tooooo long. When I get to the pearly gates I will have a word with my boss and tell her she may have made a boo boo matching Mr and Mrs Yankee up.
There you are Yankee - told you I had just been waiting
Gillette and Muzzy have travelled with Portsmouth (IN admin) to Spain for training and two friendlies. So they look like getting a deal. BUT (IN ADMIN) and still allowed to travel as a club and waste money.
Yep the Big Clubs get away with things that the little clubs get hammered for. Typical
Reeves also looks like going elsewhere according to DFP. I rest my case.
Here is the big news it may not come as a shock but i am lead to believe Shelton, yes our beloved replacement for Steve Brooker is out for 6/7weeks
ionly, under Company Law, I think you can get by with just 1 Director - recent changes mean that you no longer even need a separate Company Secretary - whether it would be sensible for a football club just to have 1 Director though, is a different matter.
Thank you. When in the History of DRFC have they been classed as "Sensible" ha ha, maybe more of Balwin's Business Plan? As for Martis well he is not fulfilling the contract he signed. GET RID. I know there are problems but we carried Brooker for 18 months. We need to save money to somehow convince some one to come and play for Donny.
O'Connor, Copps and Spur are all fit for the Grimsby game. It may settle the doubts in one or two peoples minds.
ionly i think extra time may b havin a go at us
What? Teams need to gel? Have Rovers fans learned something from last season? Well I never!
Anyone would think that every other club in the league had signed its full quota of players.
Good grief, give the club a chance.
Every year I give them a chance. I am only stating what others are and we are supporters. Dean Saunders is much more worried than me I assure you Hound. If no one comes in players we keep them.SIMPLES but at what cost to the club? and prospects of survival in league one
I do agree that they cut their losses with Martis and get rid. We'd be able to use some of the saving on a decent centre half. Our favourite son should be " the Martis over, it's time to call it a day".
Favourite song not son these damn fingers.
I agree about Martis but isnt he under contract so unless someone wants a permanantly injured player we are stuck with him.
Given that people on here are saying that we dont have enough players in tbe squad just who else are we wanting to get tid of.
Martis could have his contract terminated and the insurance could sort things out OR cancelled by mutual contract but he ain't daft......Like last two seasons our injured are very happy to sit and get paid for now't then get a game or two and knock sick again. never known a club like it. More sick notes than dole office. I think "G" it is a case of getting someone in, as I said yesterday Copps and Stockie are not going anywhere, so who else is on good money, I can't think of anyone who merits any. Played 46 last season and won just 8.....Who would sanction paying for players from a team of overpaid babies with that record on their C V's. ah I know Cleethorpes Town
Keegan has signed a twelve month contract. So much for common sense last week. Yes I do like him and yes he is a good player, but a bit tongue in cheek difference from a rolling two month contract depending on fitness. I can see many of those here last year still being here. Baxendale etc.
With a team of players of Baxendales standard we would find ourselves in L2 next season.
We dont know what Keegans terms are do we.
It may be on a.
Shoulf read.......
May be on an appearance based deal.
We dont have all the facts.
Stock is another player who is regularly injured.
At least with Coppinger we get value for money.
