Exile, we may well win and it may turn out good overall - But Zat Knight will still be Zat Knight at the end of the game.

To be honest I'm not watching the stream so I don't know who was responsible for the goal if it was Knight OK, I didn't rate him last season and I don't really expect him to improve. I was simply saying that the game isn't over and I'm sure we will create chances. Whether or not we put them away is a different matter. That is why, when posters have been shouting for a defensive mid, I have been saying a striker is more important. I know we need to tighten the defence but we also need someone to puit the ball in the back of the net.

I think Marvin will score but I'm not too sure about the rest of our forwards. Hopefully midfield players will contribute their fair share of goals to ease the pressure on the forwards but a decent striker is essential.

One point I didn't mention is that we have five players who can fill central defence positions, That is of course when Wheater is fit again.

Couldn't agree more with the need for a new striker. Playing KD on his own is an awful idea because we never have the pace to stretch their defenders. As you said though, we have Sordell and N'gog to come in.

I don't see where you get 5 cb's from though. Even if you include Wheater, who's injured for the next 6 months, that's 4. Unless you mean Ricketts. If Sam is playing centre-back at any stage this season, it means Alonso will be on the pitch - Which is equally terrifying as ZK playing.

Just so I don't sound like I'm moaning too much, Keith Andrews looks pretty tidy.

Precisely, Rickets has played there before and he is a decent centre half.

Ricketts is a fantastic centre-half yeah. But Alonso is a pretty big liability as a full-back.

As for Alonso, I'm quite sure he will improve when he has a decent run in the team. Well that's what I think.

I have an office downstairs where my desktop is and I don't really want to go down there. I'm upstairs in the lounge(our house is an upside down house. From updates it seems we've played some great stuff..

Mavies had a few chances,

Pratley has had a typical performance, unbelievably good off the ball movement, but missed 3 good chances.

Davies and Andrews both had headers.

Seems we just need to get the rust off our boots and start to hit the net..creating chances, with more gametime we will finish them off

Cisse looks like he's trying too hard to win a contract. Vela looks pretty special and confident on the ball. Wylde is exactly the player I assumed he was - Fast with poor control.

1-1 seems like their keeper has had a good game..

It's 1-1 with a few minutes left. It's been reasonable to be fair, but it's the same suspects as last season that are playing poorly.

There's a big emphasis on short passing, which is just as well considering we have no pace. I can't stress how badly we need a new striker.
