It the light of our early Europa start I am very disappointed we have lost two full international players and replaced them with a player still making his way in the game.

Forget Carroll, fate will decide what happens to him. I think robbo is worth more discussion. He looked better than Enrique. Self assured, composed on the ball, great runs and good defending. Potential England left back.

Second half a vast improvement on first half. They are getting it together, some more quickly than others. In my view it would be a very bad error, not just in financial terms, for the club to sell, or even offer to sell AC. He has the ability to adapt. He put Spurs under pressure, they didn't know how to handle him. Lucas looked good. Skipper deserved to be booked. Raheem, what can you do with him????? The opposition just didn't have an answer, did they? Shoot him? Nah. He'd just get up and dribble past the sniper. Glad to see Wilson make his mark. Joe? Serious doubts. Lucas? Coming back, cute and cuddly. Sama and Wisdom, both. Why oh why should we be looking for full backs with these two there already. Sama especially looks very composed, although I say that taking nothing away from Wisdom. The future looks Red. Now, all together, "We're gonna have a revolution oh yeah, you know what I mean ... ". Yes, girls, I'm on the juice. jimmyTheRed

If your referring to Kuyt and Maxi, then they where on huge wages and they're careers where on the downward. Stop moaning!

Manfrom, there's five more weeks before the transfer season closes. We are strengthening, the USA trip has identified Rodolfo's efforts in bringing on new talent from within. Raheem, Pacheco, Suso, Adam, they are all progressing. Yes, we can all find fault, and moan, but please, give it time. We will get there. JimmyTheRed

I fully beleive/hope we get some players in once we're back from the tour!

Stevie G, agreed on Robbo, a fine player in the making. Manfrom, I am at a loss with FSG, they just don't seem to respond to what the team requirements are. We have a Europa match in five days time.

FSG's job is nothing to do with team requirements, they employ people to do that.

We also need revenue from the Europa league, the wages might be fine but what if we get dumped out in the first tie?

We won't!

What if we don't?

So are you saying BR has failed to respond to replacing two full international players in time for the start of our new season?

A Europa League qualifier where first team players may not play starts. Furthermore we have players coming through who can play on the right, Cole back and we don't actually play with wingers but wide forwards. Borini has come in and we have over a month left of the transfer window. For crying out loud, let it drop, you bore.

Not moaning, just stating my feelings. I'm sure we will land another player or two, but the season starts on Thursday, our training camp is over and we have a lot of the first team only meeting the manager for the first time this week, slow in the transfer market and a first choice keeper who hasn't been heard from in a month.

Ok, maybe I am moaning, but its hot and humid here, so I'm a little grumpy.

OK, let's hope it works out, but I have my doubts.

Aggers, what's the matter friend? You appear way off course. The club is defo WIP. It won't be achieved overnight. Tonight's game showed how far we've come; more realistically, how far we have to go. While both you and Manfrom have clear views, the fact of the matter is that, now that BR is in charge, with the quiet revolution beginning t show, it will take time. Patience, mate, I know how you feel, but I don't share your concern, Brendan will get us there. jimmyTheRed

I'm impressed with what I have seen and I think we gave the spurs a great game. In fact we were better. Jimmy I'm with mate. I think we will do alright next year. Better than some may think. Don't worry about additions, they'll come. The market is not moving yet, it will do. You'll see. It is always slow cause everyone is checking their options out. Don't want bidding wars. It will sort itself out. I'm not worried. I think we will be surprised.
