Manchester Utd-
Favourite win- 2-1 at the Emirates 06/07-
The first ever Arsenal-United game at the Emirates remains my favourite to this day. Rooney had given table topping Utd a 2nd half leading against an out of form Arsenal, RVP scored a great equaliser from a tight angle before Henry scored a rare header in the dying seconds to seal a memorable and unexpected win for Arsenal.

Worst defeat- 1-3 at the Emirates CL SF 2nd leg 08/09-
Now the obvious one to say here would be the 8-2 at Old Trafford last year, but the game was so one-sided that I pretty much resigned myself to Arsenal's inferiority, this CL game hurt much more IMO. I'd been cautiosly optimistic after a narrow 1-0 defeat at OT in the 1st leg in the knowledge that United would still have to come to the Emirates. But my pre-match hopes were all but dead in the water after the opening 10 minutes of this match, during which Park and Ronaldo had both scored leaving Arsenal with an impossibly high mountain to climb. United ultimately won 3-1 on the night, 4-1 on aggreagte, and my hopes of a 2nd CL final appearance three years on from Paris were over.

Tottenham-
Favourite win- 5-2 at the Emirates 11/12-
As far as North London derbies are concerned, they really don't get any better than this. Spurs were 10 points ahead of us in third going into this match, all the pre-match media hype was about some sort of 'North London power shift', Wenger didn't know what he was doing, Parker was the world's best holding midfielder, Arsenal needed someone like Parker, Arsenal needed some English grit and steel, 'Arry was the best manager on earth, Arsenal were finished etc. etc. Spurs take a 2-0 lead in the first half hour, and Arsenal's defence looks all over the place. Then what happens? Arsenal roar back, of course! Sagna and RVP strike before half time in quick succession to make it 2-2, and the 2nd period is all Arsenal with Rosicky and a Walcott double sealing a memorable win. To top it all off, Parker gets sent off late on and Arsenal ultimately end up overhauling Spurs and finishing third!

Worst defeat- 2-3 at the Emirates 10/11-
I was actually out when this match was on, but I's seen the score on a TV at half time, and Arsenal were 2-0 up, leaving anything other than an Arsenal win inconceivable to me. then I get text an hour later telling me that Arsenal had lost 3-2. I was stunned. It had been years since Spurs had beaten us in our own ground, and them coming back from two goals down made it even worse. It took me a while to get over this defeat.

This was a much better game than the 06/07 game. Had everything with both teams going for it. Nasri bagged 2 decent goals.

United, City and Chelsea aren't really your rivals anymore. What were your favourite and worst games against Newcastle and Fulham?

How is the Manchester power shift going?. There is only 1 team in Manchester now. United are a thing of the past. All your gloryhunter fans will soon be supporting the blue side

half a billion spent to win on goal difference in the dying seconds of the season. Terrified of that power shift.

It was actually Chelsea who finished sandwiched between Newcastle and Fulham... albeit with Liverpool and Everton in there as well.

With United having previously thrown away an 8 point lead. Are the all-conquering, ultra effiicient Manchester United turning into bottlers?

You should be terrified. No more trophies for the next 10 years. Even the likes of Basle and Bilbao are better than Utd these days. sad times

But they won't finish there this season, Arsenal will if they lose RVP

Good article 5

Chelsea

Best: 5-3. RVP's celebration at the end, was so good.

Worst: Either the one you mentioned or the CC final

Liverpool

Best: 09/10 2-1 at Anfield. What a turn around. Or 4-2 in 03/04

Worst: One you said

City: Best: 1-0 last season or 3-0 10/11

Worst: 4-2

That Liverpool 4-2 defeat still hurts. I think I shed a tear that night.

From a united point of view, and just between our 2 sides

worst: either the 0-1 at old trafford with overmars scoring or the wiltord 2002 game

best: either fa cup semi 99 with giggsy's wondergoal, that game had absolutely everything, so many emotions, or the 1-3 at the emirates in champs league, men v boys.
