WHY ARE WE BUYING PLAYERS FROM BAHRAIN.
Plus how can we even get work permits...
Because SoD thinks they're good enough.
By applying.
Twitter rumours suggest Ryan Hall and Nicky Maynard
exiled - why does it matter where they're from if they're good?
"WHY ARE WE BUYING PLAYERS FROM BAHRAIN."
We aren't.
Even of we are, in SOD I trust...or do you know better exiled? Stay away from xbox football manager. Ta.

Exile, the immigration specialist
Would you be saying the same, if the player was from Brazil?
Or from dirby for that matter?
hahahahahahahaha
You all thought it was gonna be so easy, serves you right!
Next Man City pmsl
Who thought it was going to be easy?
ermmm most of you, granted though, some of you had a little sense to realise that the new owners could talk the talk and there was a chance they would deliver next to nothing.
Its gonna be another hard struggle for both clubs I think
IR: the new owners could talk the talk and there was a chance they would deliver next to nothing.
Speak for yourself [GSE, cough].
So far so good for us - they've delivered and wisely.
I'm happy.
Jealousy is your greatest trait IR.
Ilkeston, could you please provide evidence of most of us sayin that 'it' would be easy?
Much obliged
Come on Sheriff, don't be ridiculous. There's half a dozen rams who come on here, put words in our mouth and tell us what we're thinking. How dare you ask them to back it up!
Haha
The number of people on here who were complaining about Bahrain trailists at the time was unbeliveable. So to quell these worries people said there is not a chance we would get work permits - Bahrain not in top 70 FIFA rankings etc.
Now as soon as it looks like we are getting some Bahranians people do a U - turn and say we get a work permit by simply "applying".
Some fans are so desperate to turn absolutley everything into a positive and forget about any tiny negative aspect.
Why do I keep saying Bahrainians...I mean Kuwaitis. Countries are close enough.
that's like calling us French.
I don't recall many complaining about the trialists, although I remember you moaning about quite a few things at the time of the takeover. Lots of Derby fans were taking the P, and it was stated that there was a possibility they wouldn't get work permits because of FA stipulations. Red tape is there to be broken though, and there are ways and means of getting round it, especially if you can demonstrate that the player is good enough, which based entirely on statistics, we surely can
we're still not strong enough at centre half and we still don't have any wide midfielders.
this means we'll still be a bottom half team and maybe another relegation battle.
For those of a miserable disposition, we are at the BEGINNING of the next chapter in Forest's history, we are STARTING to rebuild for the future, and we will NOT be wasting money desperately trying to buy promotion (Like Leicester did). The Al-Hasawis have a 3-5 year plan for getting PROMOTED, not winning the champions' league. Give it time.
