With the rider that I personally would prefer a younger player, with potential to continue into the PL with us. But if he comes back and pulls on our shirt again, he'll be one of us! Jeer if you support someone else only.

I would certainly cheer him as I do for all of our players. Something is starting to get on my nerves about this Smith debate.

Firstly, the YEP! What the chuff do they know about the goings on at Elland Road?! I used to work there for four years but not in the editorial team and they really are a poor man's Sky Sports News. No wonder Dews got out to go work for LUFC instead. I don't believe anything they say in their articles although I still look...weird!

However on to Smithy now. I keep seeing people commenting that he is no longer good enough. Correct me if I am wrong but when he last played in our league, where did his team end up? He happened to play a key role in their midfield and managed to keep away any long term injuries.

We as realisitic Leeds fans have to remember where we are. Smith would add to what we have that is clear to see. He also supports the club and nobody can deny that. So if you were a pro footballer and you supported Leeds, would you put in the extra mile for Leeds more than you would say for Bolton?

My conclusion is he would be a key signing for us. We need more players like Paddy who wear their hearts literally on their sleeves (or should I say headband?!). A few doubted whether Paddy would sign a new deal claiming he would leave us for the first club who offered him a full time contract. Makes you wonder how people thought that.

i hated him when he went to manure but i read his full bio last season and gained some respect back for him, if he had it his way he wouldnt have played for manure, he was forced by a particular destroyer of football clubs

People are assuming we well play 442 this year but I very much doubt it. We will need 3 centre mids, at least one defensive because sg will play 451 again.
