Bates is passing through but at this moment he is in control of every single employee at ER
He also controls everything at ER.
So you think fans can abuse Bates and not players?
Believe it or not there should be morals in football
Too many players think they can do what they want and be worshipped and or backed by fans, well sorry they can't in my world.

Agreed Mate, not my style either, ok we've all thought "what's that sod doing in a Leeds shirt" but that's as far as it goes, if he's picked to play ,he gets support

RSL, Depends what they've done, NW and Ross have made their peace with EHD, so that's good enough for me.
As long as he gives his all for Leeds he gets my backing.

Highland agree 100%

RSL, not sure I follow your logic here? or what you mean, are you saying you do boo Leeds players?

Logic ????????????

posted on 13/8/12

I agree it does depend on what they have done but to just say because they are wearing a white shirt we should support them is totally wrong.

If a player did something , maybe a crime then yes I could boo them, depends what it was

No Eric, It wasn't a stupid comment to make. Fact is, a large chunk of our fans would love it if he did that to Man U fans or Rooney - I also said that it doesn't "make it right"

What was so stupid about it?

Ok i reckon this is the worst i can think of, ...if roy effing keane got a run out for Leeds i wouldn't boo him, but by the same respect i wouldn't cheer him either.

RSL, yeah I suppose I see that, you mean if a Leeds player did something outside of football thta you don't agree with? - but again to be fair, when SG went through his divorce, if asked at the time, I'd of backed our manager 100%, purley becuase he is Leeds....

never liked NW before he became our Leeds manager, ask me if I'd sing his name from the roof tops if we got promoted... hell yes I would

YoungWhite

You said '...If we draw Man U in the cup and he spits at their fans, he will become a Leeds legend - same as if he were to break Rooney's leg with a horror tackle. Doesn't make it right. but we all know this would be the case...'

In your eyes that would make him a legend would it..?

Even with the rider 'Doesn't make it right' it is a stupid comment. And if you think a large chunk of our fans think that he would be legend under those circumstances you're deluded.

Eric - If that happened would our fans be singing about it for years to come?

We both know the answer

Its true and you know it - give it all the as you like!!

YoungWhite - deluded springs to mind.
They might do in your car on the way to the game.

drfc - you have no fans so how would you know?

come on guys, in Young Whites defence, I as much as anybody hate violence in football, but that said, if during a showdown between Leeds and Man Utd, like the old days where the atmosphere is pumping and say Austin goes in hard on one of thier players, braking his leg, he would be remembered by the Leeds fans for the 'guy who hit Keane hard', Leeds fans would sing it from the terraces... it's not right, but the Leeds vs Man Utd thing can turn people... it can cloud your reason...

So, whilst it is wrong in the first instance, I think what Young white means is that with the 'die hard' Leeds fans.. and when talking with your mates at the pub, the offending Leeds player would be a legend.

as much as I don't like that fact, it is true.

What is to gain by booing Diouf. Is it arrogance? Do you think fans are so important Warnock will release him?

I have sat in the Revie and seen us at our worst times. We are skint but have a very good manager and squad - bar a few marquee signings abd might still be getting new owners.

Surely we need to drive on our squad, not cause division?

For the record, I do not like the sound of Diouf the person. Also, Bowyer and Woodgate clearly were not nice people either - Did you boo them.

Do you all boo many England or Leeds players? Because, lets be honest, many of them are nit good people.
