Yes LRF, there was a Liga thread on the old BBC 606. We briefly tried on sportwitness after the beeb closed down, but preferred this site because it had Pinky.

IOAG, I never even knew there was an old 606. But I suppose there is a clue in the name of this forum. Haven't heard of sportwitness before, I might check it out on there, see what's going later on. Beeb?

The BBC had a sports forum called 606 - hence this site's name and that of several others: not606, 606 v2 - just google discuss football 606 and you'll get a host of them.

I'll see what I can look at on there then.

Do you guys want to know a fact (I know you don't get many so it's worthwhile)

Recently I bought Football Manager 2013 and I found some statistics on there.

La Liga is ranked the 2nd best competition in the world behind Premier League which is regarded as the best in the world (which I think is) and Bundesliga 3rd.

The FA Cup is more valuable than winning the Russian league, Portugese League and Dutch League and is almost worth the same amount as Serie A only 1 ranking place behind it.

However I know Football manager is only a game but if any of you would acually want to research into that and see if it is true, that would be very interesting to know.

V interesting battle this season between PL, BL and Liga to become the top league in Europe.

I've always known that the PL has been the top league across the Globe but I always thought that Bundesliga and La Liga were very close and couldn't be split and the French League and Serie A were lurking in there shawdows really.

Then the FA Cup behind it all...

I'll look at that in about 10 miutes, just got to do something.
