Yeah it happened yesterday
Sorry to hear that Barry, the reason for the change in username hadn't dawned on me.
Tip on what to avoid for your next interview:
"What would you say was your greatest weakness?"
"Honesty."
"I don't think honesty is a weakness."
"I don't give a fúck what you think."

Falcao scores.....too little too late?
if they'd have scored 5 minutes earlier, they would have got through that tie !
Kazan were v v nervous in the 2nd half of that match
Would any of you here be interested in Sports Gaming?
Decision to send Asenjo up for that corner at the end of the 1st leg cost them the tie.
Levante 1 up already.

Coefficients race shaping up nicely.
Liga top, but only its weakest side through and all the rest in big danger of going out.
BL looking good in the CL but lost 3 of their EL sides.
PL got some good EL results.
And Serie A now in the running after good results over the past fortnight with the expection of Napoli.
Lazio now meet Stuttgart and Inter are vs Spurs in the EL.
Looks like the United-Madrid return leg will have a big impact on how the coefficients shape up for the PL & Liga.
The 2-0 defeat vs Milan sparked my curiosity.
Barça have overcome a 3-0 deficit 3 times in Europe, winning all three ties on penalties (Ipswich, 77/78 UEFA Cup; , Anderlecht, 78/79 CWC; and Goteborg, 86/86 EC). They've also overcome a 3-1 deficit twice (4-1 vs Dynamo Kiev, 93/94 EC, and 5-1 aet vs Chelsea, 99/00 CL), but I don't know whether they've ever overcome a 2-0 defeat.
Biggest Real Madrid comebacks in Europe:
1975-76 European Cup
Derby County 4 Real Madrid 1
Real Madrid 5 Derby County 1
1798-80 European Cup
Celtic 2 Real Madrid 0
Real Madrid 3 Celtic 0
1984-85 UEFA Cup
Anderlecht 3 Real Madrid 0
Real Madrid 6 Anderlecht 1
Inter Milan 2 Real Madrid 0
Real Madrid 3 Inter 0
1985-86 UEFA Cup
B. Moenchengladbach 5 Real Madrid 1
Real Madrid 4 B. Moenchengladbach 0
(THAT last minute Santillana goal crawling the ball into the net )
Inter Milan 3 Real Madrid 1
Real Madrid 5 Inter Milan 1 (aet)
Think the Basque derby's tonight. Time to get your predos in if you haven't already.
the san bernabeu miracles !!
i remember some of those comebacks in the uefa cup in the 80s !!
Santillana's goal is what's stuck in my head the most, but perhaps the biggest was the Anderlecht one, they were a true force in Europe back then. It was the only time in 7 years they failed to make at least a European QF:
EC semis or QFs in 82, 86, 87, 88
CWC champs or finalists in 76, 77, 78 & 90
UEFA Cup winners or finalists in 83 & 84
The previous season they'd come within 6 minutes of becoming the first team to retain the UEFA Cup and in 85 they'd knocked out Werder Bremen first and then hit 6 past Fiorentina.
