Don't think hel care about his rep he's on 200k a week maybe more.
powering you right but just saying what i think. i'm hugely disappointed but at the same time we haven;t done too badly out of this and i have no respect left for a player who we stood by for so long - he's the past - i'm looking forwards to the future
redblack - you can say bitter if you want but it's part of being a fan to want you're players not to behave like rvp - anyway what's done is done

I knw m8, i feel the same. Loyalty died yrs ago unfortunately.
cheers powerking - i want players who want to play for the club. looking forwards to cazorla, podolski & giroud - let's see what they can do
A question for you guys
Can Podolski and Giroud replace RVP's goals? because i am unconvinced. I think we really need to sign a replacement.
Do you really begrudge RVP a couple of medals to show for a career that in history, no matter what he does at United will be seen as him playing for an over achieving N London club who tried to eat at the top table of European football but came a bit short.
Arsenal owe him buckets.
I find it amazing that arsenal fans where over the moon when they signed spurs captain sol campbell and thought it was a right good laugh. This is when loyalty started to die! I guess you could call it karma
vermination - maybe it's time we don't rely on one 'star' player - not good to build the team on rvp, cesc, henry or whoever
red black and white - i begrudge the way he let is all - we've had our good times and yes i think he makes you stronger and gives you a better chance of winning medals but i'm an arsenal fan so i'm only going to see it from my point of view
Yeh zin, I think that goals are going to come from a lot of players this season! Even Gervinho!
gawasoldier - i actually agree with you - always thought sol was a merc - as he showed with what he did with spurs and after he left us too
You have lost your top goal scorer, captain and best player. It WILL effect your team.

Its one of those things that happens to every club in favour and against. Players come and go.

maybe if you wish hard enough.
Anyway, 24m for an injury prone 29yr old is a hugely risk move for united, and good business for us considering he was set on leaving
pp1212 - gervinho needs to improve his shooting but i love the way he beats his man especially on the outside and he's looked good pre-season - let's hope what eden has said about him is true
Poldi is a lethal finisher, havent seen alot of Giroud but was impressed on sat. Santi is the player we've been crying out for, two great feet , vision, pace. Also people are forgetting Theo who contributed massively for rvp and got into double figures with goals and assists.
If we stay injury free then who knws but we knw thats not gna happen so i reckon 3rd or 4th again.

Not really, there are many instances where teams lose their best players and actually do much better than the season before, look at Germany and Ballack,
Viera and Arsenal, Henry and Arsenal, even Carroll and Newcastle, Rooney and Everton!
There are many more examples
wengeance - of course it will affect us - the instability of losing so many first team 'main men' is a nightmare but somehow we manage to maintain top 4 - i want trophies tho and that will come from a team effort not just one star
maybe if you wish hard enough.
--------------------------
Maybe if you wish hard enough you wont miss him. The three things i listed are true. If it wasnt you wouldnt be making excuses about his age etc.
sorry last comment should have been @gawasoldier
Arsenal will still finish top 4 this season without RVP. That's all that matters for Arsenal. With RVP they would still finish only 4th.
