I think that a bit cruel on Peter Leven, who is say Winkie didn't offer less and he felt he wasn't valued? Although it does remind me of Ince when he saw Beckham and Scholes coming through he was out of ManUre in a flash.
Surely he was talking about the length of contract rather than the money. Oxford can't pay more can they?
One would have thought he'd have a reasonable chance of promotion with us...he's a big loss and I can't help thinking that KR might come to regret this as the 'one who got away'.
