This is Murray's big chance! He has to win this.
Wouldn't call it sad. Yes it is unfortunate, but life goes on. I am hoping this might give a young buck out there the kick up the rear the tour needs at the moment.
Disagree here: Rafa has certainly overachieved his potential. If I think he has the same slams as Borg I go nuts.
Rest in peace Rafa,
I actually wish he could still play. However I think his injuries, if that is what it is, are really not the result of bad luck in his case. If anything I am very surprised he has had as long a career thus far and his fans should be extremely happy with that.
Remember that without top science and change of WADA rules (approval of PRP treatment forbidden till then), his career may have stopped in 2009 with 6 slams "only".
4-6 slams would be, for me, the real value of the player.
The fact that he got to 11 make me think something must have gone a little out of control.....

au contraire my friend, au contraire...everything was perfectly controlled, esp the draws
Now me think: Socal is in reality a woman
no he isn't
but he goes on about them (in little hot pants) all the time
Why? Isn't ONE name enough?

I find watching Nadal play no different to watching pain dry,so I wont be missing him
Even though he may bring variety to the game,I actually think the game is better off without his cheating ways.At least we know the game will be played fairer with no dubious MTO or seeing Nadal being coached by his uncle from the stands
Its been a wonderful summer without him
Well done Veejay for making ridiculous comments!
Nadal gets coached by Tony during the match? No as I also watch his matches and nothing happens in those matches!
Nadal doesn't take many MTO and many other players do take them so its well within the rules of the game!
Surely you can't see that as you are blinded by your hatred towards Rafa!
Agree with that OP. He brings a whole new kind of style to tennis and I have never seen anything wrong with that.
The other players are lucky that they can avoid a hard match with him, but there are other players out there who will make sure we get a great Grand Slam.
May the best man win
Maksi did you see Castle? You didn't tell whether you saw it and if you did see that series did you like it?
He was not going to win it anyway. Two years and nothing won on HC or grass for Nadal.
