If your coming in on the main line then you could just get a taxi from lime st along scotty road and walk up the hill!
Erm, the soccerbus leaves from Sandhills station, which isn't a direct line from Lime St. You need to get to Moorfields, there should be a bus from Lime St, only takes a minute or two, then Sandhills is one stop on the train.
Walk past the barber showing photographs
Of every head he's had the pleasure to have known
Turn right at the corner, there is a banker with a motorcar, then behind the shelter in the middle of a roundabout A pretty nurse is selling poppies from a tray
then you'll walk down Penny Lane, you'll know it because there is a fireman with an hourglass
and in his pocket is a portrait of the Queen....Ask him where to go after that...
Just get a cab from the station to as close to the stadium as possible.
from City Centre to Anfield prob no more than a fiver in a cab.
good job your not coming from motorway - roads works everywhere
Cab looks like the best option, how far is the city centre from the station? Shprt walk I'd imagine..
the station(s) are in the city centre
Get there 2 hours early and walk.......
Walk from Lime Street to Central Station, take the train to Sandhills, you can get the soccer bus or walk to the stadium, not far
Walking to the stadium next week against City but because of train times and kick off it's a tight squeeze for Arsenal, thanks for all the responses
Walk. Getting a taxi won't be easy plus the pilgrimage to anfield with thousands of fellow fans is an experience and not to be missed.
Hate to break it to you but the match is away at West Brom... It's a bit further from lime street, you might even need the train!
"...the pilgrimage to anfield with thousands of fellow fans is an experience and not to be missed."
Absolutely...

This is very true, I think you may find the pilgrimage to Anfield quite a lonely experience
Don't be picky, he asked about getting to Anfield, he never said today........<disapprovinglooksmiley>

Very true, and the first time you see/hear/feel the Kop in full swing will stay with you forever.
It'll be my first game, won't go into explaining why but after supporting the club for 13 years I can't begin to say how much Im looking forward to it. Seems surreal in all honesty.
