Don't think anybody has actually questioned his defensive performance Bestie, but thanks for your input.

Im sorry, but we need to replace Song with a DM. A proper one who will sit there and do nothing else but cover. We dont need another CM going forward, Cazorla and Co are plenty good enough at that themselves.
As for Diaby, he's a mystery. Looks so good at times, but seems to do not that much
Fernando is open to a move to Arsenal
Jenkinson is decent going forward, he's the best crosser in our squad. You can't make a complete judgement on one game.
You have a point with his crossing 8bit, which could be very useful with Giroud in the team.
.8b!t. "he actually said we're still in the market for players."
Wenger also said that he wasn't going to sell RVP! (and Fabrigas).
Jenkinson is dangerous with his crossing we could have got a goal from one of them today. I agree his not the most comfortable on the ball in build up play but on the counter attack his looks lively. Plus some strong challenges which was good to see.
well you said he's on record saying we won't strengthen, which is not true. when you're selling a player it's not very smart to say so because you're trying to get the best deal possible. But from someone who usually says we don't need signings, if he says we're after players then it's a pretty good sign. but don't let logic get in the way of your whining.
Jenkinson scares me, honestly, so I fully agree that bringing in a mature right back to support and challenge Sagna is essential.
Jenkinson's crossing did improve last season, but it is far from reliable or consistent. And his passing today, into vacant space, or worse, to the opponent, is life threatening.
Mertesacker didn't exactly inspire confidence either, frankly. How many balls did he squander? Shaky start.
