We didnt play well. A lot of us are saying that. Yeah because we spent money, there is an expectancy for us to challenge for the league and rightly so.. Will have to wait until 10 games or so before any of us are able to give a proper assessment though on our season ahead.

They're jealous they can't win when they aren't playing well

I think 90 of people predicted a Manchester 1-2 finish and Chelsea to make up some of the 20-odd points behind they were last season.

Dubbed, no one considers us title contender, 99% of Chelsea fans have not even entertained the idea.

The aim for us is a solid season with the new boys gelling and build foundations for a title challenge in 13-14.

We know it won't be happening this term.

I said, now pay attention, that if Chelsea are being considered as 'title challengers', Arsenal should be too seeing as Chelsea aren't better.

Chelsea with this team will surely challenge for the title. I am pretty sure of that. From what I have seen today (not really too much) they looked pretty clueless at times in defence. But all have to settle of course and you can't judge any team after the first game.
