Why not hulk and why Schurlle both unproven in the prem and from what i have seen hulk has the ability to tunr a game in an instant whilst schurrle looks like a white kalou.

I may not be this board favourite poster, but one thing i know for sure Roman want keep buying all the time. Having opportunity to spend money doesn't mean we should spend it lavishly. We have Eden, Marin, Mata, Oscar there is Ramires all can change game because they won't all start at once. Keeping in mind wage cap should our priority now. Bar Hazard, i don't think any of our new players including Ramires is above £70k. I am more on sustainability of the club not what Arsenal fans think

Hulk yes please!!

Its not permanently limiting yourself.... its about value for money. Hulk is not worth 35-40 million. That amount should get u a player who is world class or known to be one of the best in the positiin he plays in. Hulk is neither.

Schurrle is just kalou ver 2.0 and paying 25 million for that is just plain stupid. Remember we got oscar for that

Gazza it's not the fee that is the issue per se, it's what else you could do with it.

Gazza - Common sense would be not ti spend 100m on a single player who is not even that great. You could probably buy a decent RW, CM and RB for that money.

Gazza that is essentially still valuing the player as the club expect X player to fulfil Y role in such an such a way. Otherwise all alternatives to Hulk will also be valued equally.

Also your example is completely unrealistic.

TBK, Sturridge won't make the team whether we sign Hulk, no need to underrate him. and Drogs wasn't that good when he joined too, in fact Hulk is better than Drogba was when he first joined.

On what basis are people assuming that Hulk is a great player? Yes, he does bang in a lot of goals for Porto in the Portuguese League which actually is not a big deal even AVB did well there.......

I have never seen him perform in the CL when the opposition are a bit more tougher and he was so bad for Brazil that they dropped him from the first team after 2 games....

I think most people are just fascinated by the name and would like to get the kit as it sounds awesome....
