Originally he wouldn't sign a 1 year contract he wanted a 2 year contract but then after he won the champions league he didn't want to be surplus to requirements at chelsea whilst we're trying to build a new team

The idiot told Drogba at the start of last season" you're not needed, but the club thinks you're useful for the young players so I'l keep you".

I do recall Drogba saying he made his decision to leave whilst AVB was in charge.

Think Drogba made his mind up 2 years ago tbh, though the party line from his camp is he made the decision after winning the CL. Nice lil PR excuse.

BK - If I said to you AVB had stabbed someone...

Would you say "It wasnt his fault! the guy walked right into AVB's knife"

I remember hearing that he wasnt going to sign, before the finals of both trophys. As Mr Chelsea mentioned, I think early on, he had decided he was off, most likely cause if what AVB had said to him.

You do need an overhaul though. So did we. And thankfully that's something Roman & AVB currently agreed on.

^ I meant happy with their roles in the SQUAD, not team.

It'll be interesting to see how VDV reacts. He got quite stroppy last season at not playing full games, even when not fully fit (which he almost never is).

Kimchi - I think Harry did well managing VDV to be honest. He doesnt seem like the easiest of players to manage. He did have a few strops sometimes when he got subbed off. Be interesting to see how AVB manages him.

So when AVB was here, he gets criticised for playing Drogba too much. When he leaves, he's not playing Drigba enough. Choose one or the other. I don't know what you're talking about with Terry, he even backed AVB in public. Lampard and AVB obviously had a problem but the thing people don't seem to understand if he was rubbish anyway before we changed formation.

The dead guy walked right into the bullet that came out of AVB's gun. Wasnt his fault at all!
