I don't want Navas at Arsenal.
Not consistent enough.
We have enough winger
I am not sure if there is any truth in it. He crumbles out of Seville. Even in away matches and in tournaments for Spain.
Reyes couldn't handle the premiership and he had his mother/entire family with him. I wouldn't buy any players with deep seated mental health issues. I wouldn't trust any wingers from Seville after Reyes. Although Navas can play right back as well.
Maybe its a kick up Theo's agents backside to get it done. I am actually surprised that awful agents engineer this stuff even though the player doesn't want to go. I can understand this sort of stand off with a 26/27 year old who wants to make a move if the club is standing still. Very bad advise if the hold up is on Theo's end. If its down to Arsenal, then I fear we are in big big trouble.
Theo is not as big as Wilshere. And there is ZERO chance of keeping him in the next two years if we can't even tie up Walcott.
Not consistent enough.

Navas is definitely consistent - he's just not good enough for Arsenal imo.
It's not true either that he crumbles away from home, he's performed decently enough for club and country.
Reyes is another issue. He's pure lazy.
Navas won't feel homesick at arsenal at all. After all both the clubs rarely win anything at all.

Do you know the number of times he has not played for Spain because the manager thought he was too anxious and ended up sending him home?
When I talk of crumbles its not about how he performs on the pitch when he gets enough confidence to start. Its the number of times he has let Seville and Spain down by NOT being able to start.
pretty sure gibbs and walcott are great friends.
The best winger on the market right now is Victor Moses.
Another spanish player
Play the spanish way with spanish players = success
Arteta, Cazorla, Navas, Miquel...

Apart from what might have happened in Spain's youth teams, to my knowledge he only refused one call-up in the Aragonés era due to his problem, saying he would not play for Spain until he'd overcome it.
He underwent treatment and in late 2009 called a press conference to make himself available for international duty. Del Bosque promptly called him up for a friendly and later for the World Cup squad. As far as I know, injury is the only reason he's missed any call-ups since.

Actually I remember him saying that he's good friends with Fabianski
Navas is a good player. Wouldn't protest if we signed him.
He's certainly better than Walcott though.
