Are we stronger or weaker?

I would say without Modrat and Ledley, combined with ageing goalkeepers, a bit of deadwood still in midfield and some inexperienced youngsters around the squad we are probably slightly weaker than last season at the moment.

Of course this could all change in the next (well I hope so)

Cockerel, I do hope we have some lined up in the next week.

Showtime, very weak is an exaggeration.

ok it is an exaggeration but you cant deny that last' season spurs was very good. I don't see it this season for spurs and before you bring Arsenal in, I don't see it either

I think we are a lot weaker. No Modric and an inferior manager. But arsenal are also weaker. Giroud and podolski are nowhere near rvp, whilst song will be a big miss. Carzola is quality but he won't be fully utilised by average strikers.

Bale, how are we ALOT weaker? If and thats If we replace Modric, what have we lost?

D'Jeezus. You're right, our CM is the weakest and our defence does depend on injuries, I had hoped Kaboul would solidify a partnership with somebody but this injury is a blow.

Kane won't cut it I don't think.

Replacing Modric with livermore weakens us a great deal. I also think our manager, the most important man at the club, is a lot worse than our previous one. hope I'm proven wrong though.

Bale, I understand your stance towards AVB. Modric is arguably our best player. Levy will replace him, surely?

Your squad wasn't good enough last season, and Chelsea and Arsenal have improved on last seasons squads.

----

eh? arsenal have lost their one man. and the man who supplied all his passes has also gone

so how are you stronger?

The first sentence doesn't make any sense. We lost our one man, and the man who was vital to the one man? So how was there one man?

ps, when did Theo leave? Must have missed that news.

you lost your hitman, and your ammunition passer in alex song, who arsenal fans were jizzing over last season.

theo walnut is still at arsenal.. and still sh111t

Song created 2 goals for RvP, Walcott created 12 for RvP. Think the man who loaded RvPs gun was Theo not Song.

And the way Walcott set up the chances even Harry Kane could get into double figures alongside Theo.

D'Jeezus, Song will still be a great loss for you, no? One of very few DM's good going forward, if you need that kind of player.

We still need a couple of players. A lot depends on how long it takes Wilshere and Sagna to get and stay fit as well.

DJ.. so who is the mobile, combative player in the arsenal midfield?

diaby? cant get himself fit

you dont have one... decent teams will be strolling through your midfield like its not even there.....

tommy huddlestone will have a field day on sunday for stoke

I'd say were stronger at FB knowing we dont have that Donkey Corluka power walking around the pitch..

Stand out moment for me we was beating arsenal 2-1 last few mins of added time, cross comes in was going for a goalkick and corluka nods it out for a corner!

Midifield, I think we are weaker at the moment, but get rid of Jenas get a few players in and I can see us being around about as strong as last season again.

Diaby is fit. We don't need a combative midfielder.

Teams never stroll through our midfield, and strolling through is how I would describe Alex Songs performances last season.

Huddlestone?

Loyal, in an ideal world if we replace Modric and a cover for wingers we're stronger already

People are using Corluka as an example of why we are weaker, I don't get it especially given the way we now play.
