mvilla would be perfect to be deployed against teams like city, utd and chelsea.
We needed more creativity from midfield AND a dm, we shouldn't have had to sacrifice one over the other but i understand Liverpool have decided to pay lot's more money so far is far.
I think he'll help Liverpool quite a bit, but you really need a goalscorer before you even think about top 4 to be honest. Suarez is an amazing footballer but his finishing is a bit strange. Probably a winger to replace Downing as well.
I read somewhere that statistically he had more interceptions and tackles per game than Song, and less fouls.
Just 'sahin'...

Pretty much spot-on
There's no denying that Sahin is a talented player and I for one would've loved to see him come to Arsenal. But you're right, when push comes to shove there are other positions we need to strengthen as a priority and the deal that is rumoured to have been offered regards the loan with no option to buy at the end of it, makes it a lot easier to move on from.
Arsene has brought in decent players on permanent deals for less than Sahin would have cost to have one season.
i supose he doesnt want to play CL football, not an ambitious player at all
M'vila would be great for any prem team. He dominated the england midfieild by himself when they played france
I think we're alright for creativity to be honest - Cazorla is our creative hub, and if we do get M'Vila or another defensive-midfielder, it would allow Arteta to utilise more of that side of his game.
Try telling this to the vast majority preparing to hang themselves over this.
King Brenny is an anagram of Bring Kenny.

No that is wrong. Beside Cazorla we have no one else in he category of what Sahin would bring.
I don't know how he fits in at Liverpool. By the dross that they have in midfield he will make the different I bet on it.

Wheyyyyyyyyyyyy
Porto have just signed Alvaro Pereira for only 8 million sterling. Bargain, why didn't we make a bid?
Reasonably young and Uruguayan connections. Surprised.
M'vila is going to Man City to replace De jong who is wanted by Milan
OP Song wasn't really a defensive midfielder for Arsenal, he got about 14 assists last season if I remember correctly.
We might have missed out on Sahin but one fact is that we will finish ahead of Liverpool by at least 20 points
Neo - isn't Peireira a right back, the position we have Johnson and Kelly in and Flanagan and McLaughlin coming through in?
I think he can operate as both left and right full back.
Shame, thought he might be a good replacement/back up for Enrique.
Sahin and Fabregas in the same sentence
I thought Robinson again showed last night that he is a more than capable back up to Enrique.
I suppose Johnson can play LB and Kelly Rb too
Should be ok in that deparment I suppose
Striker please Brendan
Sahin is nothing like Fabregas. Cazorla is the closest players to Fabregas that Arsenal have.
