If he can make an iconic moment though for himself though then maybe. Moments such as with BD in the 3-2 win over Derby, when Derby scored 2 goals early in the second half and the crowd went quiet, but then BD came out into the technical area and basically single handedly got the fans right back behind the team. This made a cauldrin of noise in the City Ground which I believe was the difference between us winning and loosing that game against the sheep!

I'm becoming a big fan of SoD. He wouldnt have been my first chioce but you can see we're playing the right way already, and getting some decent results. You'd hope we'll only get better.

We did give the ball away in some dodgy positions tonight. But that will happen early in this sides development if that's the way we're going to play. It's nice to have a decent manager, good football to watch and a feeling of optimism around the club.

People go on about how coyles got Bolton playing football. But they still seem to dependant on Davies pushing people over. That last bit might be a bit harsh

He's only been at Forest as manager for a month, yet we've seen an amazing turnaround, I can only hope he's just getting started! Must say, well done to the Al-Hasawis for listening to the players when appointing him, then allowing him free reign in the transfer department. We're clearly not the finished article and I expect Ayala or Hutchinso to replace Halford eventually. But its a great start to the season. Shame we didn't get the 3 points v Hudders that we deserved. Bolton will finish in top 6 this season without a doubt and let's hope we can too.
