vs Aston Villa in 96. The game finished goalless, but still, your first sight of the OT pitch on matchday is something you never forget.
Against Birminghan City in 1976, was well and truly mesmerised when I got to the top of the steps in North Stand, the pitch, so many people, the noise, the swearing ha, truly memorable, won 3 v 1. Playing for Birmigham that day was a young Trevor Francis and a veteran by the name of Howard Kendall, only realised this when I dug out the programme at my folks a few years ago.
everton at home, 95-96. i was five. midweek game, we won 2-0. the north stand wasn't finished so the capacity was less than 50,000 at the time, but i still remember being blown away by the size of the place.
Back in 86 wearing my Everton shirt as my Grandad tried and failed to convert me.
The cinder carpark and porta-kabin club shop......oh to turn back time
My first was fairly recent so I remember it very well. It was a Carling Cup semi final vs Blackburn in 2006. Saha & RvN got the goals to send us to Cardiff! Oh the memories & at £10 it was a steal!
england vs greece 2001
beckham freekick
United v Bolton , circa 1970?
Ian Greaves took his newly promoted side to O.T., can't remember the final score, either 2-0 or 2-1 to the Wanderers, Frank Worthington grabbed both, I think.
Happy days!

Cant remember my first trip to OT. I was taken to Maine Road and Edgeley Park before I went to OT.
Agree with the OP about the smell of cigar smoke at OT before it became all seater.
1997 United 7 Barnsley 0. Saw one of Eric's last games for the club. Poborsky and Cruyff scoring! lol Was amazing. My first United loss was also that Boro game in 98. Thankfully that season turned out ok :P
My mums bf at the time who is now her husband took me to see saint v united, 5 hours in the car, treble season, think it was Yorke and cole double, perfect!
RVN hat-trick in a 3-0 win vs Fulham in 02-03
I'm struggling to remember, but I think it was against Ipswich Town in 78. Ipswich were a great side then and United had just come up from division 2. United won I think. Back in the day I used to go to both City and United cause I was football mad. Then you could just turn up, queue up and pay your quid. At the risk of sounding an old git, if you never got the chance to experience supporting your team standing in a packed terrace then you missed something really special.
1980ish I think versus Derby. Definitely a draw, but I can't remember whether it was 0-0 or 1-1.
