In that case you must be a very happy man/boy.

If we were ever bought by a billionaire and went down the same route as Chelsea and City I would stop following Tottenham and not bother with them any more as it wouldn't be Tottenham.

Yeah right. Who are you fooling?

Just think about what you wrote for a second. Then you might realise how stupid you sound.

If someone were ever to invest into Spurs, you'd be loving it so dont give me that sanctimonious crap about Tottenham not being Tottenham anymore if it had a rich owner.

One more thing. AVB How's he working out for you?

I'd rather have a winning team by any means

Not sure why people moan about the man city's of the world as all there doing is enjoying the success there getting and fair play to them!!

Madrid, barca and man u have been spending big for many many years

Madrid, Barca and Madrid do it without a rich owner throwing their own money at the club, big difference.

posted on 25/8/12

This coming from fans of a club who didn't make much of a protest when they wished to abandon north London for east London. Yeah, right!

Madrid have had government funding for years you mong

Seriously stop embarassing yourself and ask Admin to delete this thread for your own good.

But I'd rather be like this then have some rich owner spend millions of his own money on players.
........................

Yeh right, and if Tina from Corrie offered it to you on a plate, you'd say no wouldn't you Mr Pious??

Madrid get a loan, not free money
--

Comparing this to some tart giving it up for free is a bit of a difference.
Could give Tina one and walk away and nothing more of it unless she had aids then that would be the same to some rich owner ruining Tottenham and killed the heart and soul of the club

I may be angry & bitter

To put it simple of some billionaire owner bought us and splurged millions on players I wouldn't bother any more as it would become a yawn fest.

The FA won't stop these billionaires as the Government is loving all this extra tax they gain from players being paid over 150k a week.

Football and the Premiership is slowly being destroyed, give it 10 years and it will be the most boring pile of rubbish to exist.

Madrid have received a de facto government bail out, get your facts right your stupid bitter spuuuuuuuuuuud

Spurs are a club that I can see this happening to somewhere down the line. Out of all the clubs that haven't been taken over by billionaires we must be one of the more appealing ones. I'll still support them but I agree it wouldn't be the same if success came too easily.

Madrid are backed by the king of Spain where they don't have to pay back half the money the owe!

What ever goes on at football clubs as fans who cares about money it's about you club doing well and bringing success.

Man city deserve there success as they've put up with Utd gloating over them for over the last 40 years

And who is it has owned Tottenham all these years and pulled in a profit every year by not spending to build a team that can compete?
The long suffering fans of WHL week in week out line the pockets of these clowns, only to watch matches like today and last week!

Better the club is owned by someone who will build it up to compete for a top 4 spot.

I guess I mean in very general terms of winning more matches than losing and doing so comfortably, and finishing in the top 5 of the table, and very occasionally winning a Carling Cup. At least in the last 5 years or so.
