To the op,
as long as you're happy thats the main thing.

, I think It's pretty clear he's not a happy bunny !
I do love supporting City. Have done all my life. Ups and downs and all that.
There's nothing wrong with the club you support being bought. It's happened throughout the history of football, to every single club. Some of the biggest clubs today have had, as their catalyst for their success, major/significant investment. United. Arsenal. Liverpool. Juventus. Madrid. Barcelona. Both Milan clubs for example.
Significant investment is not a bad thing. It enable clubs to progress. I'm happy that City have been fortunate enough to benefit from such investment. I'm happy that an infrastructure has been put in place that has seen major redevelopment in all areas of the club, from top to bottom. I'm incredibly excited about the investment into youth, which will see one of the best, if not the best set-ups in world football occurring in and around Eastlands. And I'm happy that we have owners who are prepared to put money into the club, so that it can realise it's ambitions to be one of the best in the world.
Of course, that's not the only way that a club can progress. But it's certainly one of the most predominant ways in which any club can realise it's own ambitions.
So yes, I'm very happy with my club. A club that I have followed since the 80s, a club I followed in my father's footsteps, and his father before him.
And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
But I'd rather be like this then have some rich owner spend millions of his own money on players.
If we were ever bought by a billionaire and went down the same route as Chelsea and City I would stop following Tottenham and not bother with them any more as it wouldn't be Tottenham.
It would be some play thing to the new owner, if the rich owner was called say Barbara you might as well call the club Barbara FC.

Yeh of course you wouldn't!
This thread is missing full comedic value because Sandy isn't contributing. Come out Sandy I want to hear your point of view.
Anyone who says they'd rather not have an owner like Roman is lying. The last time I had a "plaything" I didn't end up biting my nails or looked pensively at its progress. I admit I did jump for joy a few times but no high fives.
