i think the addition of Cooper and woods could prove crucial too and create genuine competition for places in the back 4.
especially at the Cb position

the striker situation is an interesting one. i would deffo like to see some real pace in that position, but i also think service to the strikers is going to be far batter this season than last ( i hope so anyway)

Don't really know too much about Woods and Cooper so jury is out on those two at the moment.

The squad is looking on a par to slightly stronger for me.Midfield seems to be have remedy,but the strike department is still a concern,Rhodes can do it but he's a right lazy so and so.Like I said in previous posts I think Clark is looking to have Spencer more involved.People have been saying good things about him so who knows,only Clark knows.

Well about ten hours actually.

when it comes to the full time squad i think we are slightly stronger.
after Johnson got injured last year out Midfield suffered greatly as none of them seemed to want to drop back and collect the ball, this in my opinion caused the back four to drop too deep and hoof the ball.... none of them seemed to want to hold onto it either and tended to hoof it themselves ( kilbane seemed to be a big part of the hoofing and i for one am glad hes not coming back )

from what i have heard about Gobern is he likes to drop back and get the ball, he likes to break up attacks in midfield and judging by reports he doesnt do anything fancy and plays simple passes to wingers or forwards ...really hope he lives up to the hype

Sure am and I forgot to mention that last season we had the best away record in the entire 92 club football league, so why would anyone question Clarky being giving one last shot at securing us promotion.

Can't argue with that stat - it'll be his last shot fo shua.

I hope he's still here a year from now as it will mean we got promoted.

Clarky's made steady progress over the past 3 seasons finishing ninth, sixth and third, so for me he's got to make it this year, otherwise to save face I'll also be dissappearing along with him.
