yes you are. you've got caught up in your own argument/inherent belief, and you cant make a rational judgment on it
a deception? ah I think the clues in the name bud
JPB, I honestly despair.
I do not give two hoots about how you chose to define your sets. In the field of disabled sport these people are elite. That is a FACT.
If you had abled bodied people in say wheelchair marathon for example. Then the field would in probability feature far more abled body competitors and in likelihood be dominated by them.
However in the field of disabled sport, the elite competitors will all be disabled. This is irrefutable.
para doesnt mean paralysed.
the event is marketed as an olympic event messiah.
every advert you see depicts the competitors as elite athletes.
people are encouraged to attend and watch on the false premise that they are watching elite sport.

I agree with JPB, i only watch sport to watch the elite, and paralympians are not the elite, they are a poor mans version of real athletes.

In the field of disabled sport these people are elite. That is a fact. - INCORRECT - THEY ARE THE ELITE OUT OF THOSE TAKING PART. THAT DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE THE ELITE.

Please read the above and see the final paradoxical conclusion by JPB. I would like to thank all those involved.
JPB.. there could be someone out there as fast as usain bolt but hates running or sport.... so he is really just the best of those taking part as well
it's not a paradox at all.
viewers are watching a 100m race between people who arent the best 100m runners, and are likely to be no better than the 80 millionth best runner. that is not elite sport.
Galvin, it would be more in relation to being able to train more effectively. For example the blood pressure problems of people who are wheelchair bound. The benefits of overall body Testosterone production though stuff such as squats.

I was saying the same for half those made up sports in the olympics mate
JPB it is paradoxical, your statement says.
Elite != Elite

ohh fk me, i hadnt thought of that weare
do you not get the point that there are more people with 2 legs who have run a 400m race than there are people with one leg who have run a 400m race ?
i disagree with the paralympics, its just people not good enough to make the actual olympics
i reckon i could get you lot to come and watch me doing the 100m
I am the elite 100m runner out of me and my next door neighbour
therfore I am an elite 100m runner
