Prefer Dembele and Sturridge IMO
i'd echo number 21 but i also agree that dempsey would be a good addition, especially if we trade over charlie adam!

------------------------------------------------------------
Although Dembele is a good player we don't need him as much as a goalscorer (Dempsey).
I also think Sturridge would be terrible, the lad hardly passes.
You aint buying Sturridge...not at £25m
we're avin a laugh aint we
A front 3 of Suarez, Dempsey amd Borini we give any team a hard time.
...................
Do you think you could compete against the top teams with a midfield three.
Very few teams are successful playing three up front.
VC, it turns into a 5 man midfield when defending, the wingers do a hell of a lot of tracking back.
I'm sure if given time Rodgers can turn us back into one of the best teams in Europe, it could take awhile though.
>>Do you think you could compete against the top teams with a midfield three.
seemed to work just fine against city
Also, thanks for the delightful contribution redconn
actually top 4 is achievable now
Spurs without Modric and Arsenal without RvP don't seem nearly as strong
I like clint, I'm just objecting to him sounding like some sort of magic jigsaw piece

You don't have wingers in your formation, you have three strikers.
Well instead of writing 'no' you could of stated your opinion to begin with.
I'm not saying he is a jigsaw piece but, he would certainly help out the 'goals for' column.
redconn - it does seem more realistic, but as much as its more acheviable... Its still very unlikey!

You drew the game, at home. You scored from a corner and another set piece.
ok I apologise for my concise and blunt repsonse
They're more of a winger/srtiker though VC, watching Liverpool this season (swansea last) Rodgers really has those two wide players doing lots of work, wether that be attcking or defending they must be involved.
Also the work rate of Lucas and Allen will help.

That I agree with.
But then I expected you to make the top four last season as well.

No, we actually have inside forwards...
They start out-wide and are inclined to cut inside...
Hence why you saw Sterling constantly doubling up with Enrique/Johnson.

I get what you are saying, but it is hard on your wide players to maintain that kind of energy over a long season.
Swansea did fall off a fair bit from about mid march onwards.
You drew the game, at home. You scored from a corner and another set piece.
-------
The champions drew, away @the 8th best team in England. They scored from our mistakes and virtually no ability of their own.
