Has livermore developed yet? So why was he signed on loan?

BBK..Get your brain in gear and stop asking stupid questions. Livermore is a top player and was signed because the coaching staff thought he might improve the team but football isn't an exact science.

2+2+2 is 6 and everyone knows that but whether player a, b and c will immediatley gell. compliment each other and play as a team no one can know for certain so you have to suck it and see you play them and if it works great, if it doesn't you have to try something else.

If you knew anything about football you wouldn't ask such a dumb question.

Walsall..You've played in a team where a player looks good to the amatuer on the sidelines but everyone connected to the team knows he's throwing a spanner in the works. Duncan Mac was a fine example!

Walsall ..No! I didn't see the game and even if I had I couldn't know SGs instructions to the team which is why I say fans should temper their criticism of the management and the players. If things go wrong you often can't know which player is at fault and if the system isn't working you often can't tell whether it's the opposition that have overcome it or one of the players isn't doing the job he was asked to do!

He looked lightweight to me but whatever, bannan wasn't doing the job that SG wanted him to so he wasn't selected. A manager tells you what you need to do and if you don't do it he'll give someone else a chance.

Sg has made some odd signings both on loan and permanents. I dont understand most of them to be honest. If livermore and bannan didn't show enough in training or didn't listen or heed the managers instructions then why keep them? Why sign players and play them out of position?

The best player in training last year for effort and his relentless goal scoring was mccormack. That fact has come directly from another player training with him. So why give paynter so many games and so few to the other strikers? No logic or sense of direction.

koppite, you really think Livermore is a top player?
Lets see how his career develops.
I firmly believe he will fail. But lets see

You've got to think he wouldn't be at Spurs on £20k a week if he wasn't a good player but, for whatever reason, he didn't contribute much on the occasions I saw him.

It will be interesting to see how he develops but what did Gradel look like to Leicester, they couldn't have rated him that highly and yet 15 months later they are talking about him being worth £2/3m.

This proves how difficult it is and, as I've said on many occasions, it is not an exact science and, even for guys with the proven track record of Rednose, there is a big slice of suck it and see involved.
