Believe it when he's signed and fecked off.
I Agree Senor , However makes a change to attract a National Paper even if it is the SUN!!
Don't want to be too pessimistic but it's not dissimilar to what they published a couple of weeks ago -

i know , has to be taken with a large pinch of salt...... but if nothing else it keeps the pressure up on ole cap'n Birdseye !! C'mon YEP ramp it up !!
Would be great if true. Although it would be a shame to miss the transfer window.
I dream that a couple of big players are already lined up
I don't think the two Sun columns on the takeover are similar, but people can be forgiven for seeing that way.
The link Sol posted shows the Sun reporting on negotiations being back on track after rumours they had fallen through.
The link Rodz posted shows the Sun reporting that Bates is about to be replaced within 72 hours, which suggests he's signed the paperwork and the rest is mere formalities like taking his name down from his office.
Maybe the pen4ken protest worked,lol.
As per usual, cos of past rumours and the negotiations being stretched out, we'll have to wait for full confirmation...................but it does warm the cockles of ya heart having a big paper report something closer to being positive than in past.
The name Cap'n Birdseye is to good a name for old fuzz face, kids like Cap'n Birdseye, I like Cap'n Birdseye and Fishfingers, lol.
I like to cook up a lot of fishfingers, put'em in a dish with sauce and dip the fingers in sauce while i'm watching a film, lol.
Like a Telly Snack,lol.
After Tax, about 50% I believe, Fuzz face won't have much left.
Anyone in the field know if Fuzz Face would have to pay the creditors back?
Well if it goes through I'm sure we could get a couple of decent players in on loan.
Two things leap out from the article, 72 hours is fairly definitive about the timescale and the name, David Haigh. Can anyone throw any light on who this bloke is?
Morning lads, if this is true, then furry face has well and truly left on his terms. It was after the transfer window closes is when he was rumored to do one.
The silver lining in this means we can get loans with a view to buy, so all is not lost. HOWEVER after a summer of dashed hopes, im not getting excited just yet!
Eddie - Haigh was one of those who was at the Wolves game - Leeds fan.............there were 1or2 wiki-links about him around the time of the game
Isn't David haigh a pisss poor boxer who thinks he's better than he is? Looks like boxing's on the agenda at elland road. Oh well, beats rod Stewart I guess!!

Lofty I hope you're not too wounded!
Lofty, Rupert or 'Overthetopfootball' maybe?
From the rundown of David Haigh there, it doesn't sound as if he has any real money himself. I don't think that this story is a runner.

But he's not rumoured to be the buyer, just the chairman. He could be fronting the bid from Bahrain.

Ken Bates was chairman, he claimed to have no money or put any money in.
