Sour grapes Spartacus

We've spent less on 11 players than a lot of clubs have spent on a single player !! You can't possibly compare us to Fester.

Get over your jealousy!

YOU REDS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't help taking the moral high ground when others sell their soul.

I an consistent if you read any of my posts of the past that I believe the working man's game should not be the plaything of the rich. I would be happy if all the club chairmen were hanging from the main stand. Surely if incomes in the world are so badly distributed the haves can do something more useful than lavish their money on footballers and agents. As I have mentioned before, keep the plebs happy with bread and circuses.

"Can't help taking the moral high ground when others sell their soul."

Says the fan of a club owned by Americans/and or Canadians. You sold yours first, if anything.

Unfortunately, that's life, Spartacus...Right or wrong.

We like you Forest al Florist didn't have a say in what happened to our club. That is the major complaint. The club is nothing without the fans but the fans are powerless in the face of the wealthy. Look at Leeds or Min Utd where the fans can do nothing to get rid of Ken Bates and the Glazers or ourselves who can nothing about GSE.

It's not like we've even spent that much - we've just spent wisely. To a degree, I agree that it isn't always great when clubs buy success, but it does adda bit of excitement to the game. But we haven't spent that much yet - less, I think, than in the spree when Billy bought loads of players.
For the record, I don't think we'll go up this season - the squad is still a little unbalanced, but we have class in certain areas - and it's a very tough division this year. Give us another season at least, I'd say.
Billy will bang them in, though.

This is what it comes down to.

It's got nowt to do with lefty morals really. Your all bitter that rich owners bought us and you.

It's pathetic.

Why do you say that Sutton, perhaps you are projecting your own values on me. Like rich Tories talk about the politics of envy as they envy the wealth of others they then believe that anyone who complains about the iniquities of the system must be envious themselves.

Nottingham Forest's new on loan striker Billy Sharp tweets: "Right then, I'm really sorry Saints fans - I'm off to Forest for the season. You've been amazing to me, love you all. Massive thanks and gutted to be leaving.

"But at the same time I'm wanted by a massive club in Forest so I'm buzzing for that chance. Can't wait to get going, hope to build."

posted on 31/8/12

Never heard a player yet that didn't describe the club they were going to as massive.

Waiting for a player to come out with the tweet. "Didn't really want to come here but I had to".

Anyway Billy Sharp is a decent player and apparently a decent guy so maybe he means it.

He will be made welcome

Never heard of a player going to a club he didn't want to either.

Webbo sorry mate, that doesn't make sense for billy Sharpe. Why would you want to drop from the Premiership to the championship? You'd think he'd want to knuckle down and get back into the first 11 at Southampton.

You don't have to be rich to be a Tory. I'm from a council estate in Sutton in Ashfield and I voted Tory. It's about an ideology. It's not about being rich, it's about believing in personal freedoms. The working man voting labour is just turkeys voting for Christmas.

Stay as a faceless man on the bottom of the pile and we'll get you best deal possible. No scope for free thinking or individuality. Tow the line do as your told and we'll look after you,if you deserve it or not.

I shouldn't get in to these things because I'm not particularly knowledgable on the subject. But that's how it seems to me.

But at the end of the day Derby fans problem with our spending as little to do with morals and politics and everything to do with bitterness and jealousy.

The only way to solve the world's problems Spart is by getting rid of Central Banks and countries/governments to control their own money supply. Nigh on impossible task though because 99.99% of people don't even realise that these central banks are actually private banks. Ask anyone who owns the Bank of England and they will all say the government/us

Waggers... they signed another forward today so he is being put down the pecking order. So he has chosen to come to a team that made an audacious bid and got him

Dearie me IlsonRam, you really need to stop having knee-jerk reactions aka 'hissy fits' over things you can't control.

It's 11 v 11 and Forest have their fans as a handicap, don't keep worrying - they haven't even sniffed the Premier League this MILLENIUM.

Or, FO to the City Ground if you prefer
