I bet IlkestonRam's slashing his wrists as we speak, because Clough's stock continues to rise - at least as far as spotting talent is concerned.
It's early days yet. Both Forest and Derby seem to have improved their teams for the coming season. So far the Reds have simply had more luck on the pitch and with their finances. But NLN seems to have selected better players for less money as imposed by Derby's impoverished owners. They're impoverished because they both let Billy Davies and other poor managers waste whatever funds were available. One difference is the whingeing Forest fans and manager destroyed a very honourable owner in ND.
But one thing GSE have done is have the wisdom to form a strategy and hold to it. They have not lost their nerve and we, the fans should not either. NLN is where it's at and so far he has done a brilliant job. I don't want Derby fans to repeat Forest's whingeing
The games between the two will be very interesting.

Ramdini, that is the biggest load of bollox I have read on here for a long time. Well, since the last time you posted probably.
Its true what he said about ND. He put £££'s intoforest and the fans moaned, whinged and got personal grief from some ungrateful fans....He was hounded so much he decided he'd had enough and when the stress took its toll on him and he sadly died, all of a sudden the fans were full of self pity and making out how grief struck they were. Yeah right....You get what you wanted, you wanted him gone. Yet we can't say anything against it coz the dogs are so grief struck about someone they didn't care about once he'd had enough of putting in his wealth into the team.
complete tripe if you are making out that ND's death was caused by forest fans in any way. Not sure that's what you meant though
No thats not what I'm saying. That the reds fans moaned and whinged at him because he'd stopped putting his money in and you wanted to go......then he sadly dies and you all make out to be grief stricken....full of self pity.
Forest fans had a genuine grievance with the way ND ran the club. Yes a few went too far. To say Forest fans in someway caused his death is a actually quite distasteful.
I wanted ND out and I don't feel at all guilty about it. I wanted what's best for my club and I didn't believe he was it. Derby fans, like probably the majority of Forest fans focus on the money. Forgetting we're a football club and it's results on the pitch that count. That's not to say he wasn't very generous and he didn't want what's best for the club.
A lot more Derby fans sang songs about his death than There were Forest fans that protested against him. Yet somehow they seem to thing they have the moral high ground.

No they didn't. They'd been "moaning" since we went down to league 1. The mess with McClaren was the straw that broke the camels back and ten or twelve years worth of poor decision came to a head.
It actually had very little to with money.
Agree, distasteful, to say the least.
TBH, ND was a great owner but im sure it wasnt him who appointed mcclaren. It must have been Mcarthur, or his advisers.
You still wanted him gone. Then when he passed away you made out you didn't. Full of self pity....
A lot, possibly the majority didn't want him gone.
I did.
It seems that some Derby fans think that because you didn't want a man to run your club it makes you a hypocrite if your sad he dies.
What you seem to struggle with is that not all Forest fans agree on everything.
Just shows how fickle the fans are that wanted him gone... He put in £M's to the club.
At least 70% of football fans don't know what fickle means.
What's fickle about it?
Ambergriff, go away you bitter little man
Ahh, ambergrff...you must be young. Anyone who had experienced death, wouldn't want it on their worst enemy. To try and make value on such things is low.
You, are an idiot.
Appreciate life, grow some and stop making below the belt wums, from that situation.
What a proper díckhead.

and when we play against each other rev........
Tbh, Rev...the majority of rams fans don't steep that low. Banter, etc.
I suppose the very few idjuts were never given boundaries from their parents.
You've got to feel sorry for their future.
