different circumstances

we could blame harry becuase he took his eye off the job but most of us have had a go at levy for last 2 yrs as well for his dealings in the market

This now is all levys fault

leaving it to late to replace modric and get the players we needed

making a profit in first transfer window of a new manager is unheard of

complete joke decision making

You are in a lift with a tiger and Daniel Levy and have a gun with 2 bullets. What do you do?

Can anyone guess what the punchline might be?

Creating a match thread is a thankless job and requires a lot of time and dedication. Thanks Kent .

i wnated harry sacked at the end for how he treated our club but never said who i wanted as they didnt seem much to choose from but now we have fecked up the transfer window we will have to live with it

It was definitely not a red card. It's still too early for you guys to panic. As soon as Dempsey and dembele start playing together you'll start seeing the difference.

Behind arsenal I thought in the last 3 seasons you've been playing the best football in the league, but today there just didn't seem to be a plan.

AVB needs to get it fixed ASAP. Jim failing again is not good for football in general.

Yeah normally a new manager gets a little bit of cash to invest but not with our chairman. He tries to put a team together with some old cereal packets and some double sided sticky tape.

Our top 4 team squad has been torn apart and now the fans are already on AVBs back.

It's our worse league start for 4 years and if we don't get a result against Reading the knives will be out.

Kent thanks for creating the thread, sorry if I was a bit tetchy but we kinda rely on the OPs for match threads. It is just too much work for us to moderate and we expect match threads to be OP moderated with a degree of bias so it is enjoyable for the fans of that team.

I think you'll find that the disappointment we all shared last night has pretty much happened for the last 3 or so years of transfer windows. We didn't whinge about it because the results were still there. In that sense, Harry got Levy out of jail.

The funny thing is you always bang on about what Harry did off the pitch. He was disloyal and mouthy unlike our AVB with his pearls of wisdom and his controlled demeanour. But what the hell does that matter. It's a results based business and he got results. AVB, for the last season and a half, hasn't.This has got nothing to do with Levy. If you're happy to criticise Harry for results, have the balls to criticise AVB for the very same thing.

You shoot the tiger twice so Levy can sell the fur and replace it with polyester?

-------------

Nope The punchline has nothing to do with the tiger or the gun. It's just a line on the floor where I get Levy to stand and then punch him repeatedly!

Harry fecked up two seasons running and cost us champions league so hardly successful in the end

AVB comes with a high expectation and so far is not delivering and the first 3 games have been lacking desire passion pace and direction

he needs to get the players working a lot harder than they are

I have never once said AVB would be a success just that he should be given a chance but i did expect levy to back him in the transfer market

Totally agree. The buck should always stop with Levy in that regard but the whining on here is about out start being entirely down to him. It's not. It's the consistency of criticism i can't stand. Weare hated Harry and every mediocre result was always harry's fault, never levy's. Those that backed Harry's sacking should surely be the ones who admire Levy the most, he did what they wanted. Meanwhile the rest of us who wanted harry to stay are sitting here defending Levy. It's doesn't make sense.

Well so far we have watched 3 games, we have not played well in any of them.

We never really look like scoring

We dont look capable of defending

We are not entertaining

Fault wise it comes down to one person and that has to be Levy.

Good or bad manager Levy appointed him so ultimately the blame rests with Levy but that does not stop me being extremely critical of AVB.

2 home games, 1-0 up in both and twice he has reverted to a 5 man defensive midfield when he never needed to.

I am not happy with Levy or AVB and if anybody can get over excited about signing the likes of Dempsey for gods sake tell me how.

The very fact you've started your comment with the line...

"Harry fecked up two seasons running and cost us champions league so hardly successful in the end "

makes me wonder why i'm even bothering having a discussion with someone whose sense of reality is so warped. It beggars belief that you think Harry 'fecked' up the last 2 seasons. We've never had it so good. In a few years i promise you you'll be look back and be grateful for what Harry did for us. It was a golden era, and it's could be on the slide.

Fk it! I'll shoot Levy twice after where it won't quite kill him and let the tiger finish him off.
