Podolski is better on the wing

I don't think he will be better than RVP but he is more clinical in-front of goal, RVP squandered lots of chances
Yawn, Gippo. Don't become another Arab. You'll get ripped to shreds like your boy and ask for a truce. Jog on now.
No he won't, but it's good to see you can find a way of letting go, albeit in a misguided prediction, but as i say, better than just bottling it up inside.
Err....I don't think so Dubbed....
You will see. Just watch.
Podolski Will Be Better Than RVP

This thread is embarrassing - no doubt thinking along these lines Diaby will be better than Messi
We will watch, fingers crossed.
"This thread is embarrassing - no doubt thinking along these lines Diaby will be better than Messi "
What an idiotic comment.
RVP ain't light years ahead of RVP.
Obviously RVP is untouchable after one season, while the same people were putting him down and calling him 'Van Sicknote'.
Fickle muppets.
"What an idiotic comment.

People acting like RVP's Messi.
Explain Batmanu.
It seems RVP is being extremely overrated.
Well i couldn't see RVP flopping at Bayern though.
Lets face it, RVP is better player without doubt, and we hope we can create enough for Pod and Giroud to finish off.
Dubbed, are you on the wind up?
Podolski will score 17 goals max this season. That's not bad obviously for someone's first season in the PL, but there's absolutely no way he's a better overall player than van Persie.
If we'd kept van Persie, you wouldn't be writing this article.
"Well i couldn't see RVP flopping at Bayern though."
No. But him flopping at Euros. Guess you foresaw that too, eh?
"Lets face it, RVP is better player without doubt, and we hope we can create enough for Pod and Giroud to finish off."
RVP is the better player, currently, yes. But Podolski can just as easily perform as well for us, and probably even surpass him.
"If we'd kept van Persie, you wouldn't be writing this article."
Not really. I saw the potential in Podolski. Always thought he was a very good player, albeit just unlucky.
I'm sure I'd be of the same opinion had RVP stayed.
Fickle is one thing I am not.
This thread is probably going to be ripped to shreds, but to be honest, whilst I wouldn't necessarily put money on it happening, I think there's some truth in what Dubbed has said.
Bear in mind that Van Persie looked very out of place when he was first moved to play the lone striker role, and it took about two years from him making the positional switch until he really began to establish himself as a world class player.
As I say, it's not a foregone conclusion that Podolski will be as good as (or better than) RVP, but it's not a totally laughable notion either.
Podolski was one of the most highly rated prospects in Europe when he first burst onto the same, but he's thus far failed to fulfil his potential.
His new manager's success, however, has been predicated on bringing the best out of unrealised talents.
RVP is the best striker in the world so far Podolski to be better than him, he would have to become the best striker in the world.
RVP the best striker in the world? Are you serious?
Not a chance on earth.
Oh I forgot he left Arsenal so he is crap now.
