Giroud is mentally very strong, the overreactions won't effect him.

Giroud will be good for us. His movement, dominance in the air etc is very good. Just needs a goal to compose himself. The goals will start flowing eventually.

Giroud has been winning ll the headers. He is playing too far ahead, and we are basically dropping deep and playing on the counter. It is obvious that the main striker will seem like a passenger for most of the game with such tactics

It's kind of similar to United and Chelsea playing us at the Emirates, where they hit us on the counter

Mertesacker and Jenkinson have been so poor in possession.

When we get Diaby fully fit, he will have an impact on us like Yaya has on Man City

The Bould effect?
---------------------
Yes. most of us who knew the inside workings have been calling for years for arsene to retire pat rice so bouldy could takeover as no.2. its taken too long.

This is what annoys me about Wenger more than him not spending money, he's just so stubborn, he just doesn't like to be proved wrong. To much pride, we could've won something ages ago!

This will be the game where we really see what our so called improved defence is made of. Liverpool will step it up a notch or two, they always do at home in the big games.

Diaby has been very impressive so far.

Giroud all round play is pretty good, but his finishing is pretty crap atm. I think he feels the pressure everytime. Confident he'll come good later tho.

Diaby, my MOTM so far. Running the Liverpool midfield ragged.

Liverpool may have more possesion, but Arsenal seem more likely to score.

is rooney really that stupid?

Yes

I did mention tht diaby will have a dream season beore he is sold off next summer

At the end of the day Arsenal have had the only two clear goalscoring opportunities in the half.

The midfield has coped well, Sahin doesn't look anything special at all and Liverpool probably don't have a plan B.

If Arsenal can keep organised they should win this, maybe they should bring on Walcott for Giroud at some point for the counter-attacking play.

Giroud is looking good despite the miss. Liking the counter-attacking style, reminds me of how we were a few years back.

Strikers need confidence and scoring goals gives them that. He wiont take as long as Torres at Chelsea to find his confidence though, you can bookomark that

Giroud always gives the defence something to think about, I don't judge him based on just chances

Sahin's first game so will take time to settle.
Very very impressed by the work rate of poldi and ox

Button's winning PP12.

Arteta composed as usual, doing the simple stuff, although not in the game quite as much as Diaby at times.

what about Hamilton?

Oh on another note, how overrated is the Anfield crowd? Absolutely shocking and outsung from start to finish. Hopefully they stay quiet in the 2nd half.

Every time Diaby gets the ball he does a drag back and turns. Watch for it and youll see what I mean (nearly as bad as 360 Parker at the 5pud2)
