Problem is if Conte goes so does Kane.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Let kane go man. He will break the spurs record this season. What else is point of keeping him? We aren’t winning anything for a long time. I said a couple weeks ago, we are in serious trouble and need a complete rebuild. The squad is full of defensive rubbish and older players

I'm not silly enough to want Conte gone on the back of that.
Its not on the back of that its virtually every game. We have lucked out in most of the games we have won.
How the hell are we still playing out of the back when we simply are not good enough to do so?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Performances have been poor but results have been decent. Results trump performances for me, at least for the time being. Conte isn't likely to be a longterm thing, so if we end up winning something this season and have a good go in the league, I'll accept it, despite mostly lacking performances.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Couldn’t disagree more. Performances trump results for me, purely because sustained good performances become, over time, great results. If we focus only on results, what are we doing? Where are we heading? What’s the project? The plan? Will this football win is anything? I would be amazed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Like I said above, I only see Conte as short term. If we carry on how we've started this season and win something at the end of it, of course I won't be happy that the majority of performances were poor but pleased the majority of results will have been good. By this point onwards I would certainly be wanting improvements in the performance whether that's with Conte or not.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I hear what you’re saying but I’m not one for treading water. It’s highly unlikely given the competition, that we’ll win anything this year so isn’t it better to take stock and start again. Although I’m not sure we should be sacking him just yet, I’m really not convinced this project is working at all. I had some Jose vibes a couple of months back and now they’re screaming in my face, it’s that blatant and clear. I’d rather be at the bottom of a ladder we want to climb rather than the middle of one we don’t.
I have not come on here much lately purely because I knew people would be carried away with the results and the media hype but we are as bad as we were under Jose and that was awful
They send out the only player in the side that can hold his head up high

I just think that Conte needs the players he wants and Levy won’t give them to him.
------------------------------------------------------
Any manager can claim that. Give me every player I want and I will win the CL for you.

Completely agree with all of that but a Kaneless Spurs sends a shiver down my spine.

Absolutely
Everyone sucking off the transfer window too. ALL RICHARLISON DID WAS REPLACE BERGWIJN!! Bissouma has been poor, Lenglet prob the best signing and he’s a loan ffs. Spence, Forster, Perisic been useless.
We have 3 poor RWB (Spence not given a chance), our star players are 29/30, failed to sell our deadwood, Gil a waste of money 😂
How can Spence have been poor he has not played for longer than 15 minutes if you add up every minute of his on the pitch?
Have we even had one success story from the summers recruitment? I don’t think I can name one.

I want us to sign Zaha
Dont you think we have enough players that are prima donna's putting in 10 minutes effort out of 90?
United apparently a different level to us 😳

It’s not one of those Lloris “we need to learn”s is it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It wasn’t to be fair. He actually seemed fed up and embarrassed. It was a rare game though where he stood up cos usually he’s the one who lets the team down e.g. arsenal about 5 times
All Conte does is make sure we have 9 of our players on the edge of our box for at least 75 minutes of any given game

A poor signing I mean. Like everyone else I want him to get a chance but cautious conte won’t

Meek interview. Seems a beaten man. What a joke. Its one thing saying city/pool/chelsea are above us (which I don’t like him saying) but how dare you try and dress this up as we can’t compete with a team who finished below us last season. Fack off
As long as Conte is using Dier as our playmaker from the back IMO he needs shooting
To be fair though, at Arsenal/Chelsea we sat back the Conte way. Today I think we genuinely got absolutely destroyed and Conte didn’t have a clue. I don’t think he planned us to defend this much
I don’t think he planned us to defend this much
And he did not have the brains to change things at half time to get a foothold in the game

Might be unlikely we win anything but I'm willing to give Conte the time to do that based on him as a proven winner, the fact he already brought us top 4, and the results so far this season have been decent, so he has that credit in the bank. Obviously if results start reflecting the performances more often like tonight then he will quickly use up his credit, but for now he deserves the time IMO.
