Who do you suggest Fridge? Eddie facking Howe! Lol
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, to tell you the truth he wouldn’t come anyway. He’s at a more ambitious club. Why would he?
I’d go Poch but for some absurd reason you guys don’t want him. You have to remember that this squad is completely different. After five years that squad wasn’t refreshed and got tired of the same voice and struggled to deal with the CL loss. This squad is completely new apart from Kane, Son and Lloris (amongst a couple of others) so it will feel like a fresh voice to most of the players. Can’t think why we wouldn’t go for him.
I wouldn’t worry anyway. If Paratici is still in control it’ll be some nameless conservative twonk from Cagliari anyway.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Poch.
Yeh I bet he can turn Dier into a real top class CB.
FFS Fridge, give up on Poch. Do you seriously think if he was any good, he was be sitting around, without any offer from any other top club.

Juventus were not at all bothered about letting Paratici go. Inter were a bit meh! when Conte inevitably threw his toys out. Dont worry though a sad deluded grinning fool was jumping up and down waiting to throw millions at them jeez Levy is so clueless on the football side its almost funny. That is until you watch our attacking patterns in a game then you feel pain of the dullest slowest build up play in the league. Just get an attacking manager in on a sort term deal, phone Bielsa so we can at least enjoy this again.

How can you blame Levy, if so called International Players cannot pass to their teamates?

Fridgeboy, who would your choice be (apart from Poch)?
A year ago there were a few options, but now who is there? I can’t even think of any attacking managers that are available/we could prise away
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair point but Spurs would still be a good draw for managers, great stadium, play in London, good wages etc but I do wonder if some of them would consider Levy an obstacle?

Conte blaming the squad. Saying we have champions league and fans need to be patient. Also says we have injuries.
Saying playing so many games we will not see the end result. Basically, we are going to play that many ga. Ed so this is going to continue.
Takes no blame at all.
He talks absolutely shet. We finished above arsenal yet have gone backwards and they have gone forward. Why can't he coach players to improve.

Professional football clubs generally function with a chairman who has overall control of the club answerable to a board of directors. The chairman in question has gone on record stating a wish to return to a positive style of football and has the power to implement his strategy from the youth teams up to the first team.
Said chairman after taking advice from close allies and/or the board appoints the Director of football and the Head coach. The head coach brings in various coaches and fitness experts who set the style of play he wishes his players to adopt. Most players at a CL club are international players so of a decent standard. The Head coach will consult the DOF on player acquisitions and appropriate transfer dealings are set and hopefully concluded. I repeat the chairman of the football club has appointed both these key positions.
Does that help?

Lack of confidence. Fear.
Those are the responsibility of the manager to eradicate. Especially if you're responsible for putting them there in the first place.
We win today we're through, right?

Decent except lucas
Does feel perhaps bringing back hojbjerg and romero out of desperation as he still doesn't trust alternatives
Rather Lucas as a forward than WB at least.
Sigh, not looking forward to this one bit.

Not really. Still does not answer my question why Internationals cannot do the most basic of things. Like crossing, passing, tackling etc.
They do however seem to excel in cockups.

Lack of confidence. Fear.
Those are the responsibility of the manager to eradicate. Especially if you're responsible for putting them there in the first place.

Does feel perhaps bringing back hojbjerg and romero out of desperation as he still doesn't trust alternatives
