Yeh, I phrased that poorly. I understand the point, and that they may be perfect for our squad style.

Yet it is low down in our list of importance IMO.

People say " I don't see the point of buying the Southampton pair" but it's about backing the manager. If Poch wants these guys and feel they are perfect for his system then buy them. Levy made a massive mistake by not backing avb when he wanted his own players like moutinho etc. just hope levy has learn his bloody lesson.

I don't think anyone is really against signing J Rod and Shneiderlin but we need another defender or two.. I'd go for Rojo - decent defender that can cover LB and CB.

when did your mate say this? as there was an incident where we agreed the deal, lascellas said his goodbyes then forest said they wanted more money and obvs thats not how we role so the deal got.cancelled.

Nah I think they demanded 5 million after we agreed the original deal and presumably after collecott stopped rolling on the floor laughing the deal ended.

That's a shame mate said he was a very good prospect.
