Play reserve side, but put Mason in charge. Win, win, win.
Also, you can loan players, what about coaches?
Loan Mason and 3 good youngsters to a League 1 side for a season. Where is the downside?

The downside is for the club that develops them and then has to start again

Part of me wants us to miss out on Europe altogether just to give Levy the wake up call he needs, and it could be better for the new manager to have a fresh start without too many competitions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are pros and cons but we do have a few youngers like Scarlett, Devine, Sarr as well as few other youngsters who could benefit from an extra competition.
If we get the right manager in then it could be a good thing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If we got the Conference thingymejig I'd be ok with that and we could just play the youngsters in it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And not get past the group. Brilliant idea.
Here's an idea, if Spurs are actually in a competition. How about they actually take it seriously.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It wouldn't just be youth products obviously. The quality of competition is such that you could probably get away with playing weaker sides.
If you want to talk about taking a cup or a chance at a trophy seriously, maybe you should write another letter to Levy and remind him.
Europa League - take it seriously
Conference League - assign it to the U23s coaching staff and forget about it

I dream of the day we take this prestigous competition which we built our history on seriously. Such a good trophy and something we could win.

I'm not convinced it has the prestige. Are you thinking of the Audi cup?

I have written another letter, apologising to him for some of the fans behaviour towards him, and my views on the way forward. I am awaiting a reply. I expect as usual it will be very courteous.

Mason for manager, binned Dier completely.
Fackin good.....so long overdue.
To be fair Dier has been a decent servant. Time is now up though.
Good to see Dier dropped, has been a good servant to the club but way past his best
