I have full faith in Ange though I am surprised by the number of changes given how early in the season it is, the fact its quality opposition (i could have understood it if we were playing a team from a lower league) and that quite frankly it's our best chance of a trophy.

Its a risky & one I really hope pays off. If we get beat Ange will get the stick deserves for fielding a weak team and Levy will get stick for lumbering us with some crap squad players. (The Likes of PEH, Sanchez and maybe GLC are possibly leaving this week)

Personally, I'd have gone all out to win tonight, play our best team and bring off the starters if we are ahead in the second half.

I would then have started the likes of Skipp, PEH Davies at the weekend......

If you had offered me a win tonight and a draw on Sat I'd have bitten your hand off.

Still feels like the clubs directive/sole ambition is top 4

Despite being in the CL, Newcastle will go hell for leather in this competition this season, Villa will go hell for leather in the Farmers league and the Spammers and Brighton will go all out in the Europa.

I’ve clearly not said that, I’ve said our bonus structure incentivises managers to pick weakened teams in the cups so we are better prepared for the league games at the weekend. Please do keep up
