You just can't rely on these players. Johnson put in a great cross last game for the equaliser, now he can't cross a bridge. Kulu lacks consistency too, can't hang your hat on him.
It's amazing what a couple of players can do. With Maddison and VDV we were leading a title charge. Without them we are worse than West Ham and in relegation form.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well this game is simply showing we have no real goal scorers in the team when Sonny goes missing. And he does a LOT. Need to buy a strong striker for me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We were on thin ice for goal scorers with Maddison playing, but he has enough an eye for goal and creativity that we were getting by, though still occasionally scraping through certain games. Without the team has no clue in attack.
Selling Kane is a retrospective disaster. No way we lose these games with him playing.

These players and manager have let us down tonight. No arguments about that. Teams work us out 2nd half and we don't have an answer. I half my first bit of doubt now about Ange.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
nothing to do with Ange, he is getting the best out of our players - but we have no depth. We are desperate for a solid striker and are missing Bentacur and Maddison for creativity. It will come (I hope!)
Sell Richy for me and replace. We really should go for Ivan T for me......
--------------------------------------------------------------------
He isn't getting the best out of the players for 90 mins... He does for 45, then the other coach "out does" his and finds another way and wins. That's not good coaching. I'm still behind him but I'm sorry, he is letting us down last 5 games (excluding City)
We've just lost at home to West ham, that is NEVER acceptable

That was disgraceful. However, as I said during the City game, the manager is limited tactically. In the second half, we become predictable and easy to play against. No plan B. Also, what on Earth were those subs about? So poor.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Moyes stuck to his plan and won. What else can Ange do? We play on the front foot. If we go in the lead what is the other option? Sit back?
What your suggestion for plan B? Bare in mind the squad depth at the moment?

really want Ange to workout but getting more and more detached with his refusal to bend a little. after every game's now. He knows we have some of our best players out. Surely he’s got to think of a plan as Ossie Ardiles ball ain’t going to cut unless we gave our best eleven on the pitch.
Our wide players are not good enough, Kulu is one footed, too slow and can`t beat a man, BJ has no end product despite getting into good positions. Shame we can`t merge the two together.
Hopefully at least the levy out chants will come back now we're craaaap

It seems there is a pattern with us..We always start like a house on fire and score an early goal and play great football and miss many chances!!..But once the intensity drops and our opponents starts to play we seem to drop off and its anyone's game.
Spurs are now Brighton when Potter was managing them. Lots of nice football but can't finish dinners.

We attack teams and go hell for leather - if we had better front 3, we’d convert more of those chances.

Have some sort of way to sit in for abit? Hold a lead? Maybe even go a tad deeper defensively.
For what it's worth, I think the fact we play such a high line gives us less space when attacking which means we can't open teams up. The games too congested. We are 1-0 up and seem to play back passes that allow us to concede because our players are too high. We leave too much space behind. Look at the 2.goals.WHU scoresd, both we literally open goals. 2 open goals conceded in the PL.That's not PL standard and it's suicide.
Ange has to find a way to get a shape into the team to stop letting in easy goals. Honestly, the goals today were so bad I wouldn't even see my under 11s concede goals like me that
