Undeserved win for Villa in the end but doesn’t encourage me in relation to our game - it was Lutons physicality in the box Villa struggled with and I don’t think we’ll bother them too much in that respect.

Although Villa are my 2nd team, I am going to start willing them to drop points now.
Us v them for 4th.

Think I read that whilst they've had their points deduction reduced on appeal, they've got another deduction to come! Fack knows what for, but imagine!

It’s because their breaches of P&S rules went over into the next year meaning they have effectively made two breaches - harsh but them’s the rules. The general feeling was they’d get a reduction on the original 10 points, which has happened, but would then be hit with another deduction for the next year breach. Seems harsh, but Moshiri has made a right dogs dinner of running them.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up with a 12 point deduction in total. Then of course they will appeal. If the appeal is heard after the season ends and Everton survive by say 2 points, the arbitrator could effectively be making a conscious decision about whether to relegate them or not by deciding how much to reduce their deduction by. They should absolutely have decision made asap so that they know what they are faced with and relegation can be decided with a modicum of sporting integrity.

That’s a great line up. Well done Ange. Rewarding players that have done well and benching some that have been a bit below their best.

It’s a bit harsh on Werner, but hope he can come on against tired legs and show what he can do

Tielemans has been playing that role that Dele Alli occupied for us 2016/17 so maybe it is closer to a 3421

I agree with BJ starting. I just hope he doesn't have a stinker now that he is starting a game as opposed to coming off the bench to make a difference. Not his more favourable side though.
